We had so much fun and the kiddos got along great! It sure made the weekend waaaay more enjoyable...I was sorta dreading a whole weekend as a single mama but having Ris up here too made it a par-tay! :). I really loved it--thanks Ris for coming to play with us. We all love you and your babes!<div>Of course the kids and I had to show them our fave spot--the Station Pizzeria (and Gorman Winery next door). It was a little crazy at din but we took it in stride and then headed next door for some wine tasting while the boys played with the pinball machine. Don cracks me up in the below pic...get into it!<br><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-rmJrdbhN7SQ/Ui1AVgnVEyI/AAAAAAAADc4/5LuRrSIqgoY/s640/blogger-image--1555384990.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-rmJrdbhN7SQ/Ui1AVgnVEyI/AAAAAAAADc4/5LuRrSIqgoY/s640/blogger-image--1555384990.jpg"></a><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-rmJrdbhN7SQ/Ui1AVgnVEyI/AAAAAAAADc4/5LuRrSIqgoY/s640/blogger-image--1555384990.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"></a><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-V9hBIgYVRKk/Ui1APfisqbI/AAAAAAAADcA/VwGm_xz69ZM/s640/blogger-image-2098764770.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-V9hBIgYVRKk/Ui1APfisqbI/AAAAAAAADcA/VwGm_xz69ZM/s640/blogger-image-2098764770.jpg"></a>Unfortunately we forgot the Ergo Pack and it really could have come in handy!<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-e_aY9kNLv5I/Ui1AU8e6zNI/AAAAAAAADcw/QECc4jA_LxA/s640/blogger-image--1209558014.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-e_aY9kNLv5I/Ui1AU8e6zNI/AAAAAAAADcw/QECc4jA_LxA/s640/blogger-image--1209558014.jpg"></a>Abs thought it was pretty cool that she could stand under the table. She also enjoyed some "water" tastings. :)<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-uJ_4qLKPJyI/Ui1ATPLGsjI/AAAAAAAADcg/GZI4ghibzD4/s640/blogger-image--136560379.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-uJ_4qLKPJyI/Ui1ATPLGsjI/AAAAAAAADcg/GZI4ghibzD4/s640/blogger-image--136560379.jpg"></a>Walking back to the car we had to cross the street so Don and Abs held hands. We didn't even tell them to. Could they be any cuter?!?!?<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-uei64KemeBw/Ui1AQ0LoCrI/AAAAAAAADcQ/O1KdVScG2qk/s640/blogger-image-1378636150.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-uei64KemeBw/Ui1AQ0LoCrI/AAAAAAAADcQ/O1KdVScG2qk/s640/blogger-image-1378636150.jpg"></a>Khaleesi Lou kept messing up her outfits while she was here so Abs shared some of her old clothes with her. Look at this doll-baby...seriously, those eyes and dimples are gonna be dangerous! :)<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-sslFv2nbUgY/Ui1ATxQdU4I/AAAAAAAADco/tJNeuyAfqcA/s640/blogger-image-1169978393.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-sslFv2nbUgY/Ui1ATxQdU4I/AAAAAAAADco/tJNeuyAfqcA/s640/blogger-image-1169978393.jpg"></a>We ended the night with bath time. K-Lou was so excited to be in the tub with the big kids. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/--8Asx1KMJZs/Ui1AR4Z_muI/AAAAAAAADcY/0X_4i45zrZc/s640/blogger-image--126112063.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/--8Asx1KMJZs/Ui1AR4Z_muI/AAAAAAAADcY/0X_4i45zrZc/s640/blogger-image--126112063.jpg"></a>After we got everyone down K-Lou decided she wanted to be up with mom and Auntie. She played around on the blow up mattress (aka-Bouncy House) for awhile and finally wore herself out snuggled on Mama. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-jCmbYNoBxTw/Ui1AQX5Ie5I/AAAAAAAADcI/9aSLCN_V0Xs/s640/blogger-image-413062378.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-jCmbYNoBxTw/Ui1AQX5Ie5I/AAAAAAAADcI/9aSLCN_V0Xs/s640/blogger-image-413062378.jpg"></a>I love having slumber parties and can't wait for the next one. Lovin that we are getting some nicer weather. . .or at least days without rain. The kiddos LOVE playing outside and we LOVE that it zonks them out when we are done playing. :) At the park the two could have us push them on the swings all day. Abby lets us get her really high!</div>

A trip to B Square always means a few rides on the escalator--it keeps them entertained while we wait for a table at the Nordi's Grill. :)<br />

Abby's preschool has a gym for gymnastics. We got there early one day so she got to show Ty and I some of her tricks. Ty would love to stay there as well but he's just not quite old enough.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Abby is old enough to actually pose and smile for pictures and tries to help get Ty in them for me too. It is so fun watching these two play together. We all call Ty "Buddy"--so freaking cute to hear Abs call him Buddy when she's talking to him.<br />

This bigga boy gets to eat breakfast in the big chair every once in awhile. He looks so cute and big just chillin with his Shredded Wheat in his mouth. :)</div>

He loves when Abs is not on her bed--means he gets to play with her toys. . .and she has a lot of them!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-b9DtnflUo4U/UTzMKpOQjhI/AAAAAAAADYg/Uo4OVr3BK0M/s1600/IMG_6519.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-b9DtnflUo4U/UTzMKpOQjhI/AAAAAAAADYg/Uo4OVr3BK0M/s320/IMG_6519.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
The Children's Museum in Everett was so much fun. Abs could have played at the trains the entire time while Ty could have stayed at the water table. He got so wet even w/ the apron on, that I had to take his shirt off and have him roll w/ his jacket only for awhile.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-CWAM7_EpeaI/UTzMT8u0SqI/AAAAAAAADYo/tcjcfKOpzrI/s1600/IMG_6370.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-CWAM7_EpeaI/UTzMT8u0SqI/AAAAAAAADYo/tcjcfKOpzrI/s320/IMG_6370.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
Love this pic of Ty--such a sweet boy. . .a busy boy too!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
A beautiful day to go to the park. Abs got us all moving yesterday and even started packing lunches so we could have a picnic. What a great idea! We had so much fun and the kids slept great last night after all that running around and fresh air.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-zKl-E0wkyEU/UTzMi69k3HI/AAAAAAAADZA/zhf-NelHQo8/s1600/IMG_6562.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-zKl-E0wkyEU/UTzMi69k3HI/AAAAAAAADZA/zhf-NelHQo8/s320/IMG_6562.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
Hmmn, someone thinks she is so funny! Thankfully these markers come off very easy but why, why, why do kids have to color on themselves???<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-gUQGHh5QuX8/UTzMm8C7EHI/AAAAAAAADZI/sh67HfIsaSE/s1600/IMG_6539.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-gUQGHh5QuX8/UTzMm8C7EHI/AAAAAAAADZI/sh67HfIsaSE/s320/IMG_6539.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
These two were having one of those days where they each wanted what the other had so I got them set up w/ rice and rice krispy's--kept them happy for a pretty long time. . .although it also kept me busy too--we had rice and cereal everywhere so I was cleaning quite a bit. . .oh well! The things you do to keep your babes happy!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-4JLF0PDhgXg/UTzMtSv5ZhI/AAAAAAAADZQ/PLjWB2p1gf8/s1600/IMG_6534.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-4JLF0PDhgXg/UTzMtSv5ZhI/AAAAAAAADZQ/PLjWB2p1gf8/s320/IMG_6534.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
Abs is truly my daughter--just decided to lay down and enjoy the sunshine while we were at the park yesterday. If the rest of us didn't want to run around I'm sure she would have fallen asleep, she was tired!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-9f0bkuhvu9A/UTzM2WobABI/AAAAAAAADZg/NK5Q5NLF5RI/s1600/IMG_6570.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-9f0bkuhvu9A/UTzM2WobABI/AAAAAAAADZg/NK5Q5NLF5RI/s320/IMG_6570.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
And their off!<br />

<div style="text-align: left;">
This was that crazy day from above--I finally just had to throw them in the bath in the middle of the day to try to settle them down. . .It kinda worked for awhile. :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Life has been pretty dang great lately. These two babes make me smile so much. I treasure our weekends together as a family. . .always makes Sunday nights a bit depressing because I want more weekend! This weekend Zach and I even got a date night in to The Metropolitan Grill. The kids were excited to have our neighbor, Carol, watch them. It always feels good driving away without crying kids! These pics just make my heart want to burst. . .I love you little family!</div>

Holy Moly I am a bad blogger! I keep telling myself to get on and post but sometimes getting on my computer after working all day is the last thing I want to do and I post on FB so much that I don't want to just do all the same pics. . .but this is my journal, my baby books, our life. . .that I will not remember as well if I don't document so let's just jump into it!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Christmas this year was a blast since Abby was at the age of totally understanding "asking" for presents. For quite some time leading up to Christmas I kept hearing about the gifts she "needed". Her top picks were iPad and Big Buzz (Lightyear from Toy Story). "We" got the iPad as a family gift and she hardly plays with it! HA. . .I don't mind at all because watching her use her imagination is priceless!!! As you can see--Ty did not like Santa. . .he did of course stare the cute elf down beforehand. He LOVES the ladies. I'm gonna have to teach him that just standing and staring will get awkward someday even if he is cute. :)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ez7hnm25LrA/URiP4UovrMI/AAAAAAAADSY/3N1F5G6zDlk/s1600/IMG_5059.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="214" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ez7hnm25LrA/URiP4UovrMI/AAAAAAAADSY/3N1F5G6zDlk/s320/IMG_5059.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
These guys are so cute together! Don't get me wrong--they have their moments of bugging each other but most of the time I love watching their interactions. They enjoy chasing each other around the house and giggle the whole time and they dog pile/wrestle with each other and me or Zach and again, giggle all the time. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-B23A3ehrTSM/URiQFOL_fkI/AAAAAAAADSk/gujd4p6u7xs/s1600/IMG_5380.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-B23A3ehrTSM/URiQFOL_fkI/AAAAAAAADSk/gujd4p6u7xs/s320/IMG_5380.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
Just out for din one night at our fave pizza place in Woody--<em>Station Pizzeria</em>. They let Abs play with dough--I think she has a crush on one of the pizza chefs. . .she gets all silly and shy around him. Makes me laugh every time.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-xr8S3X9QUic/URiQLtIcqjI/AAAAAAAADSs/vOxVNvIEaPQ/s1600/IMG_5417.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-xr8S3X9QUic/URiQLtIcqjI/AAAAAAAADSs/vOxVNvIEaPQ/s320/IMG_5417.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
Abs and I have talked a lot about different emotions and the faces that go with them. . .this is her "happy" face! Oh, and this is Hussey Family Christmas trip to Alderbrook Resort & Spa in one of the cottages. . .LOVE being there during the holidays--so festive!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-eE0w6_rzhtM/URiQfaJtjYI/AAAAAAAADS0/o9XyD_OrBqA/s1600/IMG_5530.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-eE0w6_rzhtM/URiQfaJtjYI/AAAAAAAADS0/o9XyD_OrBqA/s320/IMG_5530.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
Ty DID NOT want anything to do with Santa yet again so Big Sis took care of him. Gosh, I love these guys.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

One of our family night outs to Bellevue for Snowflake Lane and dinner. My fam looks a little "zoned out" in this pic. . .I think everyone was a little overwhelmed by all the entertainment and people!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-1zC5l-8zU6w/URiQv-Z5RSI/AAAAAAAADTE/W8ZNd7STfWI/s1600/IMG_5607.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-1zC5l-8zU6w/URiQv-Z5RSI/AAAAAAAADTE/W8ZNd7STfWI/s320/IMG_5607.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
Another night at the <em>Pizzeria</em>! Just hugs and kisses galore.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

New Year's Eve this year was perfect! We hit up <em>Matthew's Winery</em> for a quick wine taste before going out to din and then home to celebrate w/ the Eastcoast. This is my little Tin Man.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-zfepITbRvCI/URiRIcYfPxI/AAAAAAAADTU/nDxjibFvIX4/s1600/IMG_5784.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-zfepITbRvCI/URiRIcYfPxI/AAAAAAAADTU/nDxjibFvIX4/s320/IMG_5784.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
Abs loves doctors and dentists. I can't even threaten her with "getting hurt so bad she'll have to go to the hospital" because she WANTS to go! Love that her little sidekick has to be right there checking everything out too. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-fGSR_V0Xmic/URiRQLUQCDI/AAAAAAAADTc/Teq9_5MfvBw/s1600/IMG_5826.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-fGSR_V0Xmic/URiRQLUQCDI/AAAAAAAADTc/Teq9_5MfvBw/s320/IMG_5826.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
So this shot was taken LATE at night after Ty would not settle down and go to bed. He was on serious CRACK and I just had to give up and let him release some of the energy. He literally ran in circles laughing and shook his head all around. I don't know what was up. ..but it sure made me laugh. He seriously thinks he is SOOO funny all. the. time. He is always trying to figure out new ways to make us laugh.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-wArpP5j4xIY/URiRWB_qUFI/AAAAAAAADTk/_TvCyIqqCBU/s1600/IMG_5866.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-wArpP5j4xIY/URiRWB_qUFI/AAAAAAAADTk/_TvCyIqqCBU/s320/IMG_5866.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
Some little 3 year old is totally potty trained. . .she wears her panties all day and puts a diap on for bed time only. It was a piece of cake this go around. .. we introduced it to her a while ago and she did good but had a few accidents and then only wanted to wear a diaper and I was not in the mood to push it.. .so glad I didn't cuz she "gets it" this go around and is doing great! Just rolls w/ the unds in her buns! love it.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-NAQID83iGb4/URiRrh7L7OI/AAAAAAAADTs/eG3Jq2-HDPk/s1600/IMG_6009.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-NAQID83iGb4/URiRrh7L7OI/AAAAAAAADTs/eG3Jq2-HDPk/s320/IMG_6009.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
With the holidays behind us, we've had time to just hang out on the weekends as a fam and I absolutely love it. We are so busy during the week that having no real plans on a weekend makes me sooo happy. We always just go with the flow and it ends up being the best. . .of course makes me hate Sunday nights and Mondays but WOW do I LOVE Saturday mornings!!!! My little fam just makes me so happy. Things are getting a little less crazy, the kids are at such fun ages and Zach and I actually are getting some date nights in. We still have ups and downs, challenges and stresses here and again but all in all we laugh and smile a lot. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-DuCiPvQcR5I/URiRzpYvoCI/AAAAAAAADT0/7ogs8RuTzOQ/s1600/Kirkland.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="279" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-DuCiPvQcR5I/URiRzpYvoCI/AAAAAAAADT0/7ogs8RuTzOQ/s320/Kirkland.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
Today we did a little Valentine art project. I meant to have it be MUCH smaller than this but the paint got a little out of control and I just had to "let it go". I'm sooo glad I did--I love what Abby (and Ty) produced!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-mzAa51K_kyE/URiR5uKOaEI/AAAAAAAADT8/Iu-0n9c_RNg/s1600/IMG_6028.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-mzAa51K_kyE/URiR5uKOaEI/AAAAAAAADT8/Iu-0n9c_RNg/s320/IMG_6028.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
Tonight these two crazy kiddos were super hyper after bath. Ty is sooo excited that he can now climb on furniture and jump so of course his older sister had to join in. Just jumpin around buck A naked. . .kids have the life for sure!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-cxauFXtcCXo/URiR9TyXDmI/AAAAAAAADUE/kMw9t1ltgQQ/s1600/IMG_6043.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="255" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-cxauFXtcCXo/URiR9TyXDmI/AAAAAAAADUE/kMw9t1ltgQQ/s320/IMG_6043.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
I just had to post these squishy buns and thighs. Ty is my little tank--cracks me up. He just runs around chest and tum out first all the time! (all the clothes in the background are clean--thought the kiddos would help me fold them, not so much!) BTW--will laundry ever end??? (picture deleted)<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
And this is how the night with my babes ended. . .snuggled up listening to stories. Well, Abs stayed up and used her chair as a slide for a bit after this but for the most part they both settled down after their naked jumping. Before Ty goes to bed I always take him over to Abs and Dad to get kisses and Abby always kisses him and rubs his head, then kisses me and rubs my head and makes me rub her head too (and Dad's). I don't know how the head rubbing started but I think its pretty cute--we have to do it when we drop her off at school too. :) I made the mistake of jumping up into Zach's arms one morning and hugged and kissed him good bye for work. . .I think Abby was just trying to give him a handshake or something so now she likes us to do that every morning as well. HA</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/--KjBdB-sRvU/URiSACdhAQI/AAAAAAAADUU/Jq0AkO0Sgus/s1600/IMG_6060.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/--KjBdB-sRvU/URiSACdhAQI/AAAAAAAADUU/Jq0AkO0Sgus/s320/IMG_6060.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
There you go--a quick recap of our life these past few months. . .I promise I will try to be better about updating. Ty is my little mover and Abs is my little talker. . .well I guess they both move and talk although Ty's talking is more cave man style yelling which then irritates his sister cuz it hurts her ears. He sure does think he's funny though. Abby talks and talks and talks and everything she says makes me just want to hang out with her more (well most of the time) because she is so smart and has such an imagination and HUGE sense of humor. Cheers to the month of LOVE--I love you all but most of all I LOVE MY FAMILY!!!Kimberlyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00337807418317586568noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3462219995369947130.post-6070720659020847442012-11-24T22:30:00.000-08:002012-11-24T22:30:09.512-08:00A 3 year old and a 1 year old oh my!<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Well I loaded all the pictures backwards because that's what I used to have to do w/ Blogger to get them to appear correctly but apparently they fixed that so these go from the end to the beginning. . .</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Ty turned 1 year old on November 15th! I can't believe a year has gone by. . .this time last year I was kinda coo-coo. . .I think I've gotten a little better. hee hee:) Gosh, this little guy is my SNUGGLER (especially w/ Carol!) :) He loves to hug. He started walking at 11 months so was a pro by his birthday. Ty's favorite food is pizza and ice cream so that's what he had on his birthday. Total boy. His favorite toy is the ball popper--he could play with it for ever. He loves throwing the balls over his back. . .Zach says he's practicing his touchdown dance. :) He likes to play with toys that make noise and he loves putting toys in containers. . .this sometimes means toys go into the ball popper which makes it a bit hard for the balls to pop. He adores his sister and wants to be playing whatever she is playing with. (She doesn't love it so much) Ty loves to open and close doors and thinks he is really funny when he does it. . .drives me nuts because I am scared he is going to lose a finger. He also loves to get into the cupboards. ..and garbage! ugghh--I don't want to baby proof my cupboards so I'm hoping he becomes disinterested in this quickly! He enjoys climbing the stairs whenever we allow him to. He HATES when his Daddy leaves for work in the morning and LOVES when he gets home at night. He is my happy little boy that always just goes with the flow and makes me wanna burst with love and happiness. Walking into his room in the morning to his giggles, jumping and big smiles is the best thing in the world!! I love you little guy--Happy Birthday to you.</div>

Ty was so cute with his cake. He leaned down and took bites with no hands most of the time.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
The cake was made by Amy, my sister in law---we love Amy Cakes! The block letters were a gift from Leah at one of my baby showers. I thought they looked cute by the cake.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
Ty had to get his hair cut for the first time before his big day. He did really good and looks so dang cute w/ his short hair. My little man!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
1 year well check up stats: 21.6 lbs-50th percentile, 30.75 in tall-80th percentile. . .I'm not sure the height is going to last too long. :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: left;">

<div style="text-align: left;">
Abigail Kristine celebrated her 3rd birthday on November 6th, just a week before Ty. Ty and Abs had been sick w/ the flu just days before her birthday and then I got it ON her birthday so our celebration that night was a bust. We did celebrate the next night by taking Abs out to Red Robin--her fave place to eat because she gets quarters and wins candy! Abby is all about Cars and Toy Story this year. She is getting quite an imagination and I love sitting back and watching her play. Her favorite foods are cucumbers (the girl could eat an entire cucumber!), popcorn, ice cream (she sometimes cons me into letting her have it for breakfast) and they both love steak! HA She is the most polite little girl I know, saying "thank you Mom" and please, excuse me and God bless you. She is quite the talker all.the.time! I love the things she says. I can't even believe she is three years old! She is pretty much out of the terrible twos and only has fits here and again. . .for the most part she wakes up happy and goes to bed happy. Today she woke up and crawled into our room acting like a puppy. Hilarious!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
So Abs got to celebrate her birthday with her friends at preschool on her actual birthday--I made cupcakes (right before I got sick-thank Goodness) for her to take to school, then she got to go to Red Robin the next night, celebrate w/ some family at Chuck E Cheese on Saturday and end w/ the Fresh Beat Band Concert! She had a wonderful week of celebrating. I love you sweet girl--Happy 3rd Birthday!</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
The mini cupcakes I made for preschool. Cherry Chip w/ pink frosting--my fave. . .so I was hoping it would become Abby's fave too but she's more of an ice cream gal like her Dad.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
Grandma and Grandpa got Abs a new trampoline since she loves to jump and she is on that thing all.the.time! She will watch TV while jumping. . .poor girl is gonna lose weight if she's not careful. Ty also loves this thing. He sits on his knees and jumps and laughs so hard. It's hilarious but also a lot of work because I have to make sure he doesn't fall off.</div>

</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
A few weekends ago the fam decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather and head to the pumpkin patch. Normally we go to the Fall City Pumpkin Patch but this year we drove past Remlinger Farms and Zach asked if we should try it out. . .what a GREAT decision it was! We had the MOST fun enjoying not only the pumpkins but also their Fall Harvest Festival which included a petting zoo, food and rides for the kiddos. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
The kids got to climb on an old fire truck and Abs even drove it.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-NYiTHb3fEKc/UIQ4oTpHsLI/AAAAAAAADOg/phJ_Q1LRScU/s1600/IMG_4683.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-NYiTHb3fEKc/UIQ4oTpHsLI/AAAAAAAADOg/phJ_Q1LRScU/s320/IMG_4683.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Speaking of driving. . .both Abs and Ty got to drive Mom and Dad around in an old car.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
but first a hayride out to the pumpkins! Abby loved this so much that we had to do it a few times.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-sojEcgP_CgM/UIQ40ZsOyfI/AAAAAAAADO8/ktE8IXsn-qE/s1600/IMG_4714.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-sojEcgP_CgM/UIQ40ZsOyfI/AAAAAAAADO8/ktE8IXsn-qE/s320/IMG_4714.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
<div align="center">
Ty loved that we finally let him out of the Ergo! Check out his hair flying in the wind. He was in heaven.</div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Abby also got to go down a big blow up slide a few times, jump in a jumpy house and pet some animals. It was such a fun day and I can't wait to do it again next year. . .or heck, if they have Christmas trees we'll have to check them out for that too!</div>

. . .has come and gone so quickly! I can't believe it's over. I have been a horrible blogger and feel terrible about it since this is pretty much baby books for both my babes. September was such a beautiful and busy month. Here is a quick picture recap of the month.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Abby got a hair cut in preparation for preschool! She was such a good girl and asks about going back. . .I don't know why--they have her favorite toy-Buzz and she gets candy!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-iQRq8ulCfPw/UH-I67oefvI/AAAAAAAADLo/m-wtorBSFzs/s1600/IMG_4375.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-iQRq8ulCfPw/UH-I67oefvI/AAAAAAAADLo/m-wtorBSFzs/s320/IMG_4375.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-7hQqaxQfzdQ/UH-I-IVxb6I/AAAAAAAADLw/XUDP-jXgPZE/s1600/IMG_4382.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-7hQqaxQfzdQ/UH-I-IVxb6I/AAAAAAAADLw/XUDP-jXgPZE/s320/IMG_4382.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
First Day of Preschool 2012-2013</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-LUSS9zONfO8/UH-JvSDHZGI/AAAAAAAADMA/SsYMHI7pC64/s1600/IMG_4443.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-LUSS9zONfO8/UH-JvSDHZGI/AAAAAAAADMA/SsYMHI7pC64/s320/IMG_4443.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Driving around in the morning makes for a weird schedule every once in awhile and this particular day Ty did not want to lay down for a nap so I stuck him in the jump up and he finally fell asleep!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-9JaW_guv-aw/UH-KJY1iL4I/AAAAAAAADMI/uJHD2QoEQvk/s1600/IMG_4448.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-9JaW_guv-aw/UH-KJY1iL4I/AAAAAAAADMI/uJHD2QoEQvk/s320/IMG_4448.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
A new restaurant opened up in Woodinville--Station Pizzeria, which we love because they let Abby play with dough and we always spot hot air balloons. Abby loves them and wants our whole family to go on a ride in one. hmmmn</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-J4kE4RnBrOs/UH-KfQtx1bI/AAAAAAAADMQ/g2_s7Z8F5JQ/s1600/IMG_4490.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-J4kE4RnBrOs/UH-KfQtx1bI/AAAAAAAADMQ/g2_s7Z8F5JQ/s320/IMG_4490.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
A fun grocery shopping trip to Safeway. . .Abby loves the cart w/ the car because she has the option of driving us around OR sitting next to her brother. She also knows they have complimentary cookies in the bakery so that is always our first stop!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-L4uVWbF7ToY/UH-KoHBh3uI/AAAAAAAADMc/6bkvyqBz1uY/s1600/IMG_4517.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-L4uVWbF7ToY/UH-KoHBh3uI/AAAAAAAADMc/6bkvyqBz1uY/s320/IMG_4517.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Even though she loves her cookies, she is good about brushing her teeth and getting the "sugar buggies" clean. Her first dentist appointment went so well. She let them do everything without a fuss--she was so excited!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-kF_OPpBNGMg/UH-KpJ1qYWI/AAAAAAAADMk/bA70ASbhNRI/s1600/IMG_4530.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-kF_OPpBNGMg/UH-KpJ1qYWI/AAAAAAAADMk/bA70ASbhNRI/s320/IMG_4530.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The dentist is up in Smokey Point so we had to make a quick trip to the outlet mall on the way home. Abs, of course, just wanted to play on the toys and Grammy was with us so kept forking over the quarters for her to ride. What's that crazy lady doing to my child? Oh wait, that's me! Hahaha</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-uDO_RXo_gYc/UH-KqB_SJ5I/AAAAAAAADMo/XbL7K5vpmuM/s1600/IMG_4542.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-uDO_RXo_gYc/UH-KqB_SJ5I/AAAAAAAADMo/XbL7K5vpmuM/s320/IMG_4542.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
We visited cousins. . .here we are comparing Ty and Nina since they are only about 4 1/2 months apart. Ty really just wanted to attack Nina the whole time. :)</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
Abs and Don have seen a lot of each other lately it seems. Most of the time they play really well together. I had to take them on a little walk to look at the moon and stars. :)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-SW_iwDhy2HA/UH-K90HBYeI/AAAAAAAADM8/L4QvQVpA3Uo/s1600/IMG_4561.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-SW_iwDhy2HA/UH-K90HBYeI/AAAAAAAADM8/L4QvQVpA3Uo/s320/IMG_4561.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
All the Hussey girls went to see Tim McGraw. Grandpa watched my babes since Zach was in Germany and when we got home it was hilarious. Abs was awake standing in the window of her room under the blinds saying "big red truck is back" all while there was a huge poo in her diaper. Ty was crying his head off and my dad was snoring in his room with the baby monitor sitting on the kitchen counter because he thought we'd want to see the kids when we got home. . .well, we saw them alright! Hee hee, both went back to sleep in no time. It still makes me laugh.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
Our bigga boy is taking steps but he gets so excited to get to the person he is stepping to that he can only take a few steps and then lunges towards us. We're wondering if he'll be fully walking by his first birthday. . .we'll see!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-UeBEOhs4PhU/UH-LNmhntzI/AAAAAAAADNM/tWm6AvWq0wI/s1600/IMG_4600.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-UeBEOhs4PhU/UH-LNmhntzI/AAAAAAAADNM/tWm6AvWq0wI/s320/IMG_4600.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Our bigga girl just keeps growing. . .right out of her jammies! :) She is so adorable right now saying and doing so much. She amazes me every day with her vocabulary, sentences, counting, alphabet, sense of humor, dancing, using her imagination, working on the computer etc. She is a quick learner and LOVES to do everything on her own.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I still can't believe my children are turning 3 and 1 next month. I am excited for their birthdays! Next post--The Pumpkin Patch. . .coming soon. :) Happy Fall everyone!</div>

Well the little guy is 9+ months old. . .he's officially been out about as long as he was in--WOW! I can't believe how fast these past 9 months have gone. I am absolutely loving life right now with my little babes...yah, I have a stressful day here and there and I still haven't figured out how to fit in working out (but I actually think I am close with that one--a few early mornings are in store and some Sunday morning bike rides w/ my neighbor hopefully) but my family makes me smile and giggle all the time and it just doesn't get much better than that. I'm not gonna sugar coat anything--the first three months of Ty's life I was a wreck. . .I was trying to do waaaay too much, waaaay too quickly and with all the crazy hormones, whoa. . .sooo glad that is a thing of the past, lets just put it that way. :) </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-pRnbmUgwI4A/UD7pedEfIDI/AAAAAAAADKc/ynXU0J32OM0/s1600/IMG_4150.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-pRnbmUgwI4A/UD7pedEfIDI/AAAAAAAADKc/ynXU0J32OM0/s320/IMG_4150.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
Ty wants to do everything his big sister does which means he will probably be walking before his first birthday! He is already pulling himself up on things and walking down the length of the couch and behind the walker wagon (which you'll see in a video below). <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-4ITvTrRX798/UD7pkOzA12I/AAAAAAAADKk/slg4k9yKQUM/s1600/IMG_4189.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-4ITvTrRX798/UD7pkOzA12I/AAAAAAAADKk/slg4k9yKQUM/s320/IMG_4189.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
I love how low our front window is because the kiddos can look out no problem. Ty is really trying to look at something. . .and maybe climb the wall too, I'm not sure. :) He likes to climb on me, his dad and his sister whenever he gets the chance. That usually involves some scratching of the face and/or hair pulling. Thankfully Abby thinks its kind of funny and doesn't get mad. . .most of the time. :)<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-JG1_23oafZ8/UD7poOO3GtI/AAAAAAAADKs/CmaZcJTeK7Y/s1600/IMG_4165.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-JG1_23oafZ8/UD7poOO3GtI/AAAAAAAADKs/CmaZcJTeK7Y/s320/IMG_4165.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
Ty also always wants to play with anything his sister is playing with. Abs hit her knee on the coffee table so I gave her a cold pack--clearly they both wanted it in their mouth more than she needed it on her knee.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-jrkkDvoIOeM/UD7p8n7eMmI/AAAAAAAADK0/Y5TZxK_JCbg/s1600/IMG_4243.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-jrkkDvoIOeM/UD7p8n7eMmI/AAAAAAAADK0/Y5TZxK_JCbg/s320/IMG_4243.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
Ty Buggy has 2 bottom teeth and one on top. He loves to chomp on anything including grass and anything that might be on the floor which means I am constantly running around after Abigail to make sure there isn't a choking hazard on the floor!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-CnDfozIFWDU/UD7qDKDaYpI/AAAAAAAADK8/ZeLfntE18TM/s320/IMG_4280.JPG" width="239" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
He also loves to zerbert his food out of his mouth all over whoever is feeding him--ask Janice, she knows what I am talking about. :) We have to make sure to strap this boy in his high chair because he already acts like he is going to climb out. .. we never had to worry about that with Abs. I seriously get a work out all day long with these two babes. It's crazy but I love it. They both have been doing so good with a babysitter too so it's so much easier for me to plan things--gosh, Zach and I had two date nights within like 4 days--uuuhh, that's more than we've had the last two years I think! AND we're going to the Husky game on Saturday together with no kids--whoa! Both babes are at such a fun age right now-I love it.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Ty had his 9 month check up on the 17th but I can't find his sheet with the stats. :( I think he was 35th percentile for weight and I wanna say like 70th for height. So funny because I don't think of him as being tall but I do think of him as being a chunker munker and apparently he's the opposite. HA No shots this time so it was a pretty painless appointment. We won't head back to the doc til he is 1 and Abs is 3. Holy cow. . .</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
He is starting to really talk although the only word I have made out so far is dada. . .hmmn, I guess he is saving the best for last. hee hee I just love this guy to pieces. . .when I am putting him to bed and he is grabbing my hair or nose or trying to use my arm as a chew toy I start to giggle which makes him giggle so it ends up taking a little longer than it should. . .I try to hold it in but can't help myself--he is just so cute.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Here's a video to end with of Ty walking behind the walker wagon. There is no sound for some reason but I kind of like it that way--reminds me of the videos of me and my siblings from when we were this age. I so wanted to add comments in this post about Abigail but I told myself I was devoting this one to Ty Bug. . .she is the best big sis a brother could ask for though, that is for sure! I love you baby boy.</div>

Last weekend Abby had her cousins up for a slumber party! We had a great time in Kirkland watching the Blue Angels. I met Kyle, Amy and the kids at the marina in downtown Kirkland and while Kyle and Amy boated off for a date day/night, I whisked the kids away to go pick out their favorite ice cream! <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-xA5xTYcwxy4/UCZt8jMPuWI/AAAAAAAADIw/FoKeMq_Nl5U/s1600/IMG_4054.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-xA5xTYcwxy4/UCZt8jMPuWI/AAAAAAAADIw/FoKeMq_Nl5U/s320/IMG_4054.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
After ice cream we found a little park to play at where we could see some big planes. The kids were sticky and filthy with sand by the end but I think they all had a great time. I felt like my mom back in the day with a 6 yr old, 3yr old, 2 1/2 yr old and 8 mo old--It was like when she would go out with Michelle, Kyle, me and Kora! People looked at me like I was crazy--probably because I had a baby in the front pack and 3 kids in a double stroller. heehee<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-uKrkGtT5QgM/UCZuCiGscuI/AAAAAAAADI4/3nWlNw_v4_8/s1600/IMG_4056.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-uKrkGtT5QgM/UCZuCiGscuI/AAAAAAAADI4/3nWlNw_v4_8/s320/IMG_4056.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
All bathed and ready for a movie and popcorn w/ Uncle Zach! The kiddos LOVE popcorn and Uncle Zach loves watching movies.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-bNuhJ46bBFQ/UCZuEi44v2I/AAAAAAAADJA/M7I5Vg-S0i4/s1600/IMG_4070.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-bNuhJ46bBFQ/UCZuEi44v2I/AAAAAAAADJA/M7I5Vg-S0i4/s320/IMG_4070.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
This is how they slept. Sophia was in Abby's bed and Abby and Griff shared a queen size mattress. Of course Abby and Griff also used her bed and the mattress as jumping stations. Griff would jump off of Abby's bed onto the mattress. When Kyle and Amy got to our house and saw that they were playing like this Kyle was a little nervous but I just had to tell him I don't look and just hope its all okay. :)<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-cxPIDYgN880/UCZuG-K-FMI/AAAAAAAADJI/0WNSQPAnnqw/s1600/IMG_4076.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-cxPIDYgN880/UCZuG-K-FMI/AAAAAAAADJI/0WNSQPAnnqw/s320/IMG_4076.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
The newly landscaped backyard has been wonderful. Abby loves to run around back there and we don't have to have boots on to do it. The other day Shasta and Quinn came over to say hello. Abby LOVES playing w/ the dogs. . .Ty, on the other hand, was a little apprehensive. You can sorta tell by the lines by his eyes that he is crying. :)<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-RhsQvZaVJRI/UCZuP0DTHUI/AAAAAAAADJQ/qCkbyNQ7KeU/s1600/IMG_4095.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-RhsQvZaVJRI/UCZuP0DTHUI/AAAAAAAADJQ/qCkbyNQ7KeU/s320/IMG_4095.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
This summer Abby's preschool has 4 summer camps that she can go to. So far she's done 3 and loves them. Here she is eating lunch w/ her friends, McKenna and Sarah. I just love picking her up and seeing her sitting at the table w/ her lunch for some reason. It's just so cute.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-eEDQKZ60YgY/UCZuSsHzgWI/AAAAAAAADJY/QvT7IeghZ_k/s1600/IMG_4100.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-eEDQKZ60YgY/UCZuSsHzgWI/AAAAAAAADJY/QvT7IeghZ_k/s320/IMG_4100.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
The other evening I took Abs and Ty on a run/walk at the Burke Gilman trail and ended at the park in Woodinville. I finally remembered to bring sand toys for the sand box. Abby was a little disappointed that the sand wasn't firm enough for her to make sand castles but I think she still had fun. Ty, of course, ate a handful of sand right after this picture! YUK<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-abWK9lPPBx4/UCZuXTdPycI/AAAAAAAADJg/K-_Bu7WzGM8/s1600/IMG_4119.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-abWK9lPPBx4/UCZuXTdPycI/AAAAAAAADJg/K-_Bu7WzGM8/s320/IMG_4119.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
My pretty little lady sportin one of Sophia's old outfits. She looked so cute in it. . .and she is just getting so old, I can't even believe she will be 3 this year!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-kZUKCYZW7Kc/UCZuaB0RaQI/AAAAAAAADJs/HoH9YnXDeEI/s1600/IMG_4128.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-kZUKCYZW7Kc/UCZuaB0RaQI/AAAAAAAADJs/HoH9YnXDeEI/s320/IMG_4128.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
Ty is also getting so big. He'll be 9 months Aug. 15th! He is crawling everywhere and he is fast! He is also pulling himself up onto things and then thinks he can stand/walk on his own. I feel like I am all over the place trying to protect him from biting the dust. He is so proud that he can almost do the same things as his sister. He wants to be just like her! Yesterday they both wore me out--she likes to sit and lay on him and he likes to try to climb her and pull her hair. They both don't care that the other is doing it but I care. . .it's so hard keeping them apart though!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-_2V3Pat-xhI/UCZudrsncnI/AAAAAAAADJ0/XybF4r0KaHc/s1600/IMG_4134.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-_2V3Pat-xhI/UCZudrsncnI/AAAAAAAADJ0/XybF4r0KaHc/s320/IMG_4134.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
Last night I took the kids to Redmond Town Center for dinner and to play. Zach was at a work out competition type thing at the gym and we were stir crazy from being home all day so we ventured out. I was so tired though and kind of worried my idea would backfire on me and dinner w/ two babes would be a disaster. I prayed it would all be okay because I really wanted a nice dinner. . .and they were both soooo good. I had each one in a highchair on either side of me. After dinner we went to get ice cream and play w/ the toys. There was a concert too so we listened to that for awhile. Abby and Ty loved being outside enjoying the warm summer evening. Ty fell asleep on the way home and Abby was close!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-KVUIrEtMplc/UCZuk8mElWI/AAAAAAAADKA/wv1IF-iKZvc/s1600/IMG_4142.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-KVUIrEtMplc/UCZuk8mElWI/AAAAAAAADKA/wv1IF-iKZvc/s320/IMG_4142.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
I'm so glad we still have some summer left to play in the sun! I just wish I got summer break like the kids so we could play all day every day! :)Kimberlyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00337807418317586568noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3462219995369947130.post-59823583719463095542012-07-31T23:00:00.000-07:002012-07-31T23:00:07.114-07:00Little Miss Abigail<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
My little almost 3 year old is out of the tantrum stage--thank God! and into complete adorable stage! She talks and talks and talks and the things that come out of her mouth crack me up. She loves to cook, bake or pretend to do both. Here we are making donuts. . .</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-DbRO61zQOmI/UBi-E39EhcI/AAAAAAAADHQ/vp0SqLXkxDQ/s1600/IMG_3952.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-DbRO61zQOmI/UBi-E39EhcI/AAAAAAAADHQ/vp0SqLXkxDQ/s320/IMG_3952.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
and here we are making pita pizzas--she was so excited to make these tonight because Cailou makes pizzas with Jeffrey and Jason on an episode. . .of course, she always has to cook and taste test. This was a pizza she got to do whatever she wanted to as we were done with the ones we were going to eat. :)<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-aIJ-xDLMYPw/UBi-JrocJPI/AAAAAAAADHY/Q6ivWNpQKzI/s1600/IMG_4025.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-aIJ-xDLMYPw/UBi-JrocJPI/AAAAAAAADHY/Q6ivWNpQKzI/s320/IMG_4025.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
She realized that adding water to the rice was even more fun than just playing with the rice. Only problem--water and rice = major yuk if not cleaned up and thrown away each day. She always acts like she is making Ty food. She just loves her brother--I really hope it stays that way, they are such buds! He's been teething and was crying the other evening and she just kept saying "its okay Ty, its okay" and then when she was in bed and he was crying she told me to go take care of him. Bless her little heart.<br />

Here's my goofball that thinks she is hilarious All. The. Time! Even when she is getting in trouble she laughs! Tonight she got total church laugh and couldn't stop. . .deep down it was cracking me up but I had to remain fairly emotionless so that she would start to calm down for bed. I do love that she already has such a huge sense of humor.<br />

And my little girl prefers to be naked or almost naked most of the time. Last week she got to spend quite a few days at Grammy & Grampys (which she absolutely loves) and it was warm enough (well kinda warm enough) for a "bath" outside. Grammy filled the pool with lots of buckets of warm water and my little sweetheart decided she wanted to go inside for a bath as soon as Grammy was done filling the pool. Thanks for all the hard work Grammy-welcome to my world!<br />

While we were in Olympia Marisa's neighborhood had a community garage sale so we decided to head over for a visit because Abby really wanted to see Ris's dog, Lady and follow Grandpa wherever he was going. She also enjoyed riding on Cousin Don's bike. . .kinda thinking we need to get one of these things!<br />

For some reason putting on Mom's shoes is the thing to do. I don't know how she doesn't twist an ankle when she does this. She thinks she is so cute and funny.<br />

One last shot of my chef with a big smile. She was so proud of her pizzas tonight. I had a lunch appointment with a client today so I had our babysitter, Elliotte, come over to watch the kiddos. I kept telling Abby ahead of time that Elliotte was coming over to play and she said "and Mommy too" and I just didn't really say anything in return. Finally I told her I would be going to work for just a bit and she said in an exasperated tone--"okay" I was worried there was going to be a breakdown when I left but she came out of the room and acted shy at first (for like 5 seconds) and then ran back and yelled "Elliotte" cuz she wanted her to play with her. She then came out to the kitchen where I was doing a few last minute things and said "mommy go to work"--okay then, I'm outta here! :) It made me so happy. She's just so dang cute lately. She's soooo excited for another preschool summer camp next week. It will be an art series. She can't wait to see her teachers and friends. She says their names and told me she wanted to go to preschool today so I think she is missing it. She is also going to get a big surprise (well I told her today but I don't think she tuned in) that her cousins, Griffin and Sophia will be slumber partying with us this Friday! I can't wait-I love when they are all together.<br />

I love you sweet girl. Thanks for being such a silly, happy, loving girl.Kimberlyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00337807418317586568noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3462219995369947130.post-20876927414469643942012-07-15T12:17:00.000-07:002012-07-15T12:17:15.639-07:008 months already? Are you kidding me?<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I still can't believe my little guy is 8 months old today! He is so cute, squishy and lovable. He adores his sister so much. I love watching them together. At 8 months old Ty is eating solids. . .I have to admit, I am not the greatest w/ this milestone. . .I hate how messy baby food is and that I have to be the one to feed it to him so he's kind of gone straight to solids. He loves french fries and honey nut Cheerios. I do really need to start introducing more "healthy" options for him. :) He has also mastered crawling and sitting up on his own. With Abby I would prop pillows all around her to get her to learn to sit up on her own. Ty--another story, I tried that a few times but every time he would go forward and then end up on his tummy so I just quit trying. One day I looked down and he was just sitting up on his own like he had been doing it forever. We haven't looked back since. :) I love that he can sit and crawl now--he keeps himself so entertained all over the house, pushing toys and going after them. Abby and I always giggle when we see him crawling down the hall to find us because he looks so tiny. He is so strong and is already trying to pull himself up to standing. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-LVysjNSKMHw/UAMQlaSXV_I/AAAAAAAADFY/v-SI42Coy6s/s1600/IMG_3676.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-LVysjNSKMHw/UAMQlaSXV_I/AAAAAAAADFY/v-SI42Coy6s/s320/IMG_3676.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
Abby has had a lot going on lately too--Her preschool offers 4 summer school weeks so we've decided to enroll her in them and she is loving it! She goes Mon-Thurs 9am-noon and gets to eat lunch with the other kids. She got to pick out a lunch pail (Toy Story) and a water bottle (Cars). It is just so cute picking her up and seeing her eating with all of the other little ones. She seems like such a big girl now--its crazy!<br />

This green dress is becoming her favorite thing to wear. When I ask what she wants to put on for clothes today she always says her "green dress". Hey, at least it is cute! :)<br />

Once again, we all celebrated the 3rd and 4th of July at Alderbrook Resort & Spa. Abby was soooo excited to see her cousins, aunts, uncles, Grandpa, Grandma and of course the fireworks. . .as you can see though she fell asleep mid way through the show! :( She was beat. All she talks about now is fireworks and "Grammas cottage" cuz my parents stayed in a cottage at Alderbrook. We will be doing it again next summer and I can't wait!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Daddy is working on getting Ty to love the water as much as his sister. He dunked him in the pool but Ty did NOT like it at all. You can't tell by this picture but boy was he mad at his dad just minutes earlier. We are trying to toughen this guy up. . .he is a little softy compared to his sis. :)<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Our little crawler finding some fries to munch on! hee hee, love it.<br />

Finally we are getting warm weather which meant we needed a pool for the backyard. . .the backyard that is in the process of being landscaped! I am so excited for it to be done which should be this week. It is going to be awesome to be able to play back there. When Zach and I moved in to this house the backyard was a marsh covered in HUGE trees--major difference now.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Our deck is so huge we have lots of room for the little ones to play and they can't escape! Ty REALLY wants to play with his sister all. the. time! Usually she is okay with it but there are times she gets annoyed with him trying to pull her hair and eat her legs. :)<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-eNFMgFqFN1w/UAMRqed0diI/AAAAAAAADGo/P6ef7jX213g/s1600/IMG_3915.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-eNFMgFqFN1w/UAMRqed0diI/AAAAAAAADGo/P6ef7jX213g/s320/IMG_3915.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
This particular day Abby kept bringing toys out to the deck. I swear we had all the toys from inside out there by days end. Our cute little cowgirl. . .of course shirtless cuz that's how she rolls lately!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

This is today--Ty's birthday! He crawled back to Abby's room while I was changing her diaper. He always wants to be a part of the action. It is so cute hearing his hands slap on the hardwood floor as he ventures around the house from room to room. I honestly can't believe I have an almost 1 year old and an almost 3 year old. Life has definitely settled down a little and my hormones aren't all crazy so heck I'm ready for #3! Hee hee. . .well, maybe not quite ready. :)<br />

We got lucky with no rain and not a huge crowd. Abby got to be front row for an elephant bath which she loved. She just had a great time and zonked no problem tonight. Ty snuggled on me most of the time but did get a few compliments on his cute hat. I love my family and had so much fun with them today. Thank you Grandpa Rudy for taking us all to the zoo. Happy Father's Day to my husband, my Dad and Z's Dad i love you all!<br />

My blog used to get updated on a weekly basis after Abigail was born. . .I guess two babies and a full time job equal not enough time in the day to get fun stuff like this done on a regular basis. Here are some fun May highlights. . .<div align="center">
<br /></div>
<div align="center">
My Birthday! The big 3-6. Yikes, I can't believe I am that old.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
Baby Don turned 1 so we had a party at the Lake House. This pic is just too cute. Abby rode in a boat for the first time and fished off the dock for the first time--she LOVED both!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
Mother's Day--we happened to be in Olympia so the Hussey clan celebrated together at Anthony's. Afterwards we took a walk and had a big Stroller Brigade. This is all the grandkids with Grammy and Gramps!</div>

Zach and I had our first vacation away from the babes. Vegas Baby! We were gone 3 nights and 3 days. We basically sat by the pool all day and enjoyed yummy food and drinks at night. It was soooo awesome relaxing w/o the children. We had a really good time and can't wait to do it again. :)</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
Ty got baptized! Abby was a bit antsy during mass so we gave her a "Dum Dum" to try and keep her happy. She decided it needed to be thrown into the Holy Water Pool in the front of church. I couldn't believe it! I did save it though and decided I will make her suck on it when she is bad. . .it has to help, right???? :)</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
Abby learned how to pump milk! HA--just kidding but she thought she was really funny pretending. :)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
She is also getting really good at going potty in the toilet. . .wherever she sees fit. Wouldn't it be nice to just take a toilet wherever you wanted? She gets very excited when she "pottys" in the toilet but still wears a diaper 90% of the time. I'm just not quite ready to fully commit to panties all the time. . .accidents over and over could really send me over the edge. :)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
We visited the Pacific Science Center (this actually happened this month). Abby has soooo much fun there and LOVES the "Dinosaur Bones". I kept thinking there were going to be lots of bones but found out that is just what she calls dinosaurs. :) We had to go through this exhibit twice. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-yGxj7PiLB8I/T9zA0aggLPI/AAAAAAAADEA/IIYgE44ZGmY/s1600/IMG_3630.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-yGxj7PiLB8I/T9zA0aggLPI/AAAAAAAADEA/IIYgE44ZGmY/s320/IMG_3630.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Ty also enjoyed the science center but wished he was a little bigger so he could go play with his sis. . .maybe next time.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
Our little guy is already 7 months old! I can't even believe it. He supposedly hadn't grown in height from his 4 month appointment to his 6 month appointment so we're hoping at his 9 month appt. that there is a little growth. . .I don't think we are going to have a huge guy, that is for sure. He is pretty much crawling. . .its more of a scoot and lunge but he can get all over very quickly. I had him in his bedroom on the floor and he scooted to the door and shut it! Made it a little difficult to get him because he was on the other side of the door blocking it from opening. HA He is eating solids a little bit and is getting better and better with it the more I offer it to him. He is just my happy little guy all the time and I love it. He makes me smile constantly. Abby can really get him giggling--they are too cute together. Speaking of Abby. . .she had her last day of preschool on Thursday. We are going to miss it this summer and will be excited to start it up again in the Fall. She has grown so much from being there these past few months and its been a nice break for me. :) I'm hoping to get to this blog more often so stay tuned. . .</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Whaaaaaat's Uuuuup???? (Ty has also found his tongue and really enjoys sticking it out all the time!)</div>

I can't believe its been almost a month since I last posted! April has been a busy month. Ty turned 5 months old on April 15th so gosh, he is almost 6 months already--so hard to believe! My two babes just continue to amaze me with their love for each other and their dang cuteness. . .I sometimes want to squeeze them so hard cuz they are so cute. . .I was telling Kora, I feel like Lenny from Of Mice & Men. :) hee hee</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-tGccYqbUWzo/T6ah4qcSXsI/AAAAAAAADB4/5Sf24c70DNA/s1600/IMG_3280.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-tGccYqbUWzo/T6ah4qcSXsI/AAAAAAAADB4/5Sf24c70DNA/s320/IMG_3280.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
As I keep mentioning, Abigail LOVES her brother and is very protective of him. In fact, we just had Tom, Terri and Ella over for dinner last night and Tom wanted to hold Ty--Abs started crying and came running to me yelling "Ty, Ty". She wasn't sure about a stranger holding her brother. . .we assured her Tom was not a stranger and that it was okay so she soon got over it. :)<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-kjAo2ITDook/T6aiDkwVCtI/AAAAAAAADCA/MVfhg_w0lPY/s1600/IMG_3275.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-kjAo2ITDook/T6aiDkwVCtI/AAAAAAAADCA/MVfhg_w0lPY/s320/IMG_3275.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
Abby also loves when Ty wakes up from bedtime. She always says with excitement "Ty wakin up!" and runs to his room, climbs on his crib and says "Hi Ty" and then of course wants to get in the crib with him for a bit. As you can see, Ty is pretty smitten with his sister too. I hope it always stays this way!!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-BCBdvvUijZA/T6aiLpVNjtI/AAAAAAAADCI/bP0OP5YlbME/s1600/IMG_3266.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-BCBdvvUijZA/T6aiLpVNjtI/AAAAAAAADCI/bP0OP5YlbME/s320/IMG_3266.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
We took the kids to the Husky Spring Game last weekend and as soon as Abby spotted Harry the Husky she wanted to go take her picture with him. . .Dad would not go with her because he was busy watching the game so I had to. Hmmmn--remember, I am a Cougar!! Abby got down to Harry and turned all shy on us so I had to be in the picture with her or else she wouldn't even stand next to him. Zach was watching from afar just giggling because he knew I was doing this with lots of hesitation. . .the things you do for your children. :)<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-gq1yoMLulQ0/T6aiiiZ4NkI/AAAAAAAADCQ/jOx4-hnf2dQ/s1600/IMG_3248.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-gq1yoMLulQ0/T6aiiiZ4NkI/AAAAAAAADCQ/jOx4-hnf2dQ/s320/IMG_3248.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
Another cute shot of my babes--Abs just wanted to lay in her brothers lap. . .poor girl lost a clump of hair at this sitting though. OOPS <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-20jyFuSQwlQ/T6aiomt_88I/AAAAAAAADCY/bKJEV1s6z5I/s1600/IMG_3252.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-20jyFuSQwlQ/T6aiomt_88I/AAAAAAAADCY/bKJEV1s6z5I/s320/IMG_3252.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
I love this pic of Abs--she got stuck in my Hunters--she reminds me of the Vlasic Pickle bird. hee hee<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-_0nRdu38iKY/T6aivZVJGUI/AAAAAAAADCg/VkdQFrsakmo/s1600/IMG_3247.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-_0nRdu38iKY/T6aivZVJGUI/AAAAAAAADCg/VkdQFrsakmo/s320/IMG_3247.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
We had a random hot day this month so Abs took advantage of her water table. . .who says you can't get in and use it like a small pool. We will be buying a small plastic pool for this summer--she LOVES the water and swimming.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-iHm-pcrG_xQ/T6ai1XvvE1I/AAAAAAAADCo/b8TY2RQPyOI/s1600/IMG_3224.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-iHm-pcrG_xQ/T6ai1XvvE1I/AAAAAAAADCo/b8TY2RQPyOI/s320/IMG_3224.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
Our little guy could stay in the Jump n Go all day just jumpin away. . .even when he falls asleep. . .all of a sudden he'll jump again. It's hilarious.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-RUhc_YgfUNY/T6ajedQK7FI/AAAAAAAADCw/zxcmVbc5cL0/s1600/IMG_3185.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-RUhc_YgfUNY/T6ajedQK7FI/AAAAAAAADCw/zxcmVbc5cL0/s320/IMG_3185.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
Apparently Abby thought Ty had a boo-boo on his forehead. :)<br />
<br />
It is so fun watching these two with each other. . .it will be so fun when they can really "play" together. I won't say "I can't wait" because I don't want to rush them growing up. . .the time has already gone too fast.<br />
<br />
May is already underway! Zach planned a getaway for us to Vegas for May 13-16--it will be our first trip away without the children for more than one night since Abigail was born. We are both very excited to veg by the pool, go out to fabulous dinners and take our time to eat and sleep as late as we want. I know we'll still talk about our babes tons and will be so excited to see them come Wednesday afternoon but at the same time--we will enjoy every minute of it being just the two of us for a few days!! I can't wait.Kimberlyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00337807418317586568noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3462219995369947130.post-2750201906900737612012-04-08T10:59:00.003-07:002012-04-08T11:10:03.555-07:00Wyckoff Easter 2012Easter morning with my babes. They each loved their baskets, especially the light spinners! Abby got a Dora one and Ty's was a baseball. We will head to our good friends, Mike and Molly's for Easter dinner later today. . .<br /><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 239px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5729092003859268290" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-1efJFYRMuxg/T4HS0s-QAsI/AAAAAAAADBk/onqKVbXbGuA/s320/IMG_3051.JPG" /><br />Abby loved painting Easter eggs this year--it was her first time! Abby cracked me up because she ran past a ton of eggs just to get close to the bunny. What a beautiful day for a drive and a birthday party. We actually got to play outside even though it was still a bit chilly. . .hey, in Washington we'll take what we can get and if that means bundling up so we can soak up the Vitamin D, then we will!<br /><br /><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 239px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5729088357601300114" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-KeXLCiFEm5Q/T4HPgdmmzpI/AAAAAAAADAo/InHnFFVp-30/s320/IMG_3037.JPG" /><br />Abby and Griffin are only about 7 months apart so when they are together they look like little twins and they LOVE each other sooo much. The kids LOVE their daddy and of course Dad is pretty smitten with his babes. :)<br /><div><div><div><div><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-n8Ok5dqgDRQ/T4HOr5r3kPI/AAAAAAAAC_o/nrSueZ7O-_0/s1600/IMG_3004.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 239px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5729087454606495986" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-n8Ok5dqgDRQ/T4HOr5r3kPI/AAAAAAAAC_o/nrSueZ7O-_0/s320/IMG_3004.JPG" /></a><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-FyhxeL6JVqo/T4HOq_K0C1I/AAAAAAAAC_c/Z44Ku5GaGHQ/s1600/IMG_3013.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 239px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5729087438898596690" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-FyhxeL6JVqo/T4HOq_K0C1I/AAAAAAAAC_c/Z44Ku5GaGHQ/s320/IMG_3013.JPG" /></a>My happy baby boy, always smiling!<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-lkSHcJpjhyo/T4HOqhsVIBI/AAAAAAAAC_M/GcDQG_iTlx8/s1600/IMG_2967.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 239px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5729087430986113042" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-lkSHcJpjhyo/T4HOqhsVIBI/AAAAAAAAC_M/GcDQG_iTlx8/s320/IMG_2967.JPG" /></a><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ucieWm6WEmU/T4HOpjeY9qI/AAAAAAAAC_E/X-13ny93vYs/s1600/IMG_2957.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 239px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5729087414284646050" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ucieWm6WEmU/T4HOpjeY9qI/AAAAAAAAC_E/X-13ny93vYs/s320/IMG_2957.JPG" /></a>Abby is reading bedtime stories to her little brother. . .they are so dang cute together!<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-EmBdT6YVz9A/T4HOpXvcTOI/AAAAAAAAC-4/tjhVr6bWjyw/s1600/IMG_2964.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 239px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5729087411134942434" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-EmBdT6YVz9A/T4HOpXvcTOI/AAAAAAAAC-4/tjhVr6bWjyw/s320/IMG_2964.JPG" /></a></div></div></div></div>Kimberlyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00337807418317586568noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3462219995369947130.post-79448223549510971372012-04-08T10:07:00.002-07:002012-04-08T10:38:52.556-07:00A new cousin!!Monday, April 2nd, 2012 brought another new cousin to this crazy five-some. :) Auntie Tora (Kora) was dilated to a 9.5 soooo early in the day that we all thought she would have the baby by the late afternoon. . .we were wrong! Little Miss Nina Christine Minton didn't want to make her arrival to the chaos until almost 8pm that night!! The cousins all waited as long as they could in the hospital to meet Nina but by the time Kora, Nick and baby were able to have visitors it was almost 11pm!! Abby was determined to see them though so she just fell asleep for a bit before going in for the big visit. . .which ended up being a quick hello and back to sleep. :)<br /><br /><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 239px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5729079006896525762" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-veuXvpxyHGU/T4HHALg3EcI/AAAAAAAAC-o/LFava7fJ12A/s320/IMG_2973.JPG" /><br />The new Mama and Baby Nina--exhausted after having her water break at 2am, hanging out at the hospital w/ contractions all day and pushing for 4 1/2 hours. Even though my recovery time after my c-sections was a little longer I think I'm okay with not having to go through all of that--we were in and out and enjoying the new babes in no time. :) The nurses said Kora and Nick were a good team and that they can tell Nina is a feisty one. . .hmmn, what Hussey girl doesn't have a little "feist" in them. :) It's to be expected I think. <br /><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 239px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5729079002153260802" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-xp6WoVF4qJg/T4HG_51-lwI/AAAAAAAAC-g/hKL7JDWpr-4/s320/IMG_2979.JPG" /><br />Beautiful Nina Christine weighing in at 6 lbs. 11 oz. and only a wee 18 1/2 inches long--much smaller than we all thought this baby was going to be! Kora and Nick are the tallest in our fam and they had the shortest baby. . .I love it. I'm sure my babes will stop growing in the 6th grade and their cousin will continue to sprout long after that! HA We also thought little Nina was going to be a baby boy so it was priceless when Nick came out to tell us all the news. . .we all jumped up and down with excitement and disbelief. I even scared poor Ty because I couldn't hold in my excitement. I already sent a bag of Abby's old clothes to Nina. . .we couldn't wait to share.<br /><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-tQR8xIqNWrE/T4HG_bA0KWI/AAAAAAAAC-U/wuexxTM86e8/s1600/IMG_2982.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 239px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5729078993877215586" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-tQR8xIqNWrE/T4HG_bA0KWI/AAAAAAAAC-U/wuexxTM86e8/s320/IMG_2982.JPG" /></a>We love you little Nina. We all can't wait to see you again soon and be able to spend more time with you!Kimberlyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00337807418317586568noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3462219995369947130.post-42281599421846908702012-03-15T20:45:00.003-07:002012-03-15T22:08:21.959-07:004 months old today!<div>So much fun stuff today! Not only did Ty turn 4 months but we also toured a <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_0" class="blsp-spelling-error">pre</span>-school for Abigail and I think she (and Zach and I) really liked it. It is called Vaulting Frogs and it is a gymnastics based preschool so there are three rooms--1. has toys for playtime 2. has tables etc. for art and learning and 3. a big room for gymnastics which Abby loved. She bounced on a trampoline for the first time and had so much fun! Zach and I even left her there to see how she would do and went next door to a place called Tot Spot Cafe which is a coffee shop that has a huge play area in the middle for kids to play. It is <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_1" class="blsp-spelling-error">internet</span> friendly so I plan on going there w/ the kids and the computer to get some work done while Abs is entertained. It's only $6 for an hour to play there or $10 for the day. Abby whined/cried for a second while we left but when we got back she was in a smock and painting away! It was so dang cute. When we left she said bye to Miss Jenny. . .<span id="SPELLING_ERROR_2" class="blsp-spelling-error">soooo</span>, I think we will try it out for the next few months til the school year is over. 2 days a week from 9-11:30. I think it will be wonderful for the both of us.</div><div><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ScQznV-h-Q4/T2K5E8RdOjI/AAAAAAAAC-I/Y2iTF9uZUA8/s1600/IMG_2705.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 239px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5720337971263912498" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ScQznV-h-Q4/T2K5E8RdOjI/AAAAAAAAC-I/Y2iTF9uZUA8/s320/IMG_2705.JPG" /></a>After we did the tour I let Abby go next door to play for a bit since I had been telling her we were going to see "toys" and we weren't at Vaulting Frogs for very long. . .She. Loved. Tot Spot! We were there for about a half hour and she played and played and didn't even care if I was there. It is such a cool place for moms (and dads) to take their kids. . .especially on a rainy day like today!<br /><div><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-e3ZQly8HXiA/T2K5EWOymRI/AAAAAAAAC98/n-9CKH_HNaM/s1600/IMG_2711.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 239px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5720337961052182802" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-e3ZQly8HXiA/T2K5EWOymRI/AAAAAAAAC98/n-9CKH_HNaM/s320/IMG_2711.JPG" /></a>When we were done with the tour and Tot Spot we then headed over to the doctor's office for Ty's 4 month check up. He is doing great developmentally and of course was just as happy as could be the whole time. He cried for one second when he got his shots but that ended as soon as I picked him up. . .such a good little boy. He is 26 inches tall (84%), 14.6 1<span id="SPELLING_ERROR_3" class="blsp-spelling-error">bs</span>. (30%) and his head is 35<span id="SPELLING_ERROR_4" class="blsp-spelling-error">th</span>%. I was surprised to find that he was only 30<span id="SPELLING_ERROR_5" class="blsp-spelling-error">th</span>% for weight <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_6" class="blsp-spelling-error">cuz</span> I think he is a <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_7" class="blsp-spelling-error">chunker</span> <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_8" class="blsp-spelling-error">dunker</span> but I guess he is my little skinny <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_9" class="blsp-spelling-error">minny</span>!<br /><div><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-rFJ-sv8hgdA/T2K5D-WusuI/AAAAAAAAC9w/50EwujWjri8/s1600/IMG_2712.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 239px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5720337954643030754" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-rFJ-sv8hgdA/T2K5D-WusuI/AAAAAAAAC9w/50EwujWjri8/s320/IMG_2712.JPG" /></a>It's been fun pulling out the new stations for him to play in. Every time I bring out the <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_10" class="blsp-spelling-error">bumbo</span> Abby wants to sit in it. :) Ty does okay in it but doesn't always look totally comfortable so I never leave him in there for very long. . .I'm sure as he continues to get stronger he will do better in it.<br /><div><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-C_bNIz-APzc/T2K5DEELLmI/AAAAAAAAC9k/1BxyRZRGi80/s1600/IMG_2717.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 239px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5720337938995949154" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-C_bNIz-APzc/T2K5DEELLmI/AAAAAAAAC9k/1BxyRZRGi80/s320/IMG_2717.JPG" /></a>I can't believe the roller coaster of emotions you go through after having a baby. . .it has been stressful and more difficult for me this go around BUT this past week and half has been REALLY good and I find myself admiring my children in <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_11" class="blsp-spelling-error">ahhh</span> so much. They are both so cute and I just love them so much. . .we had a big family hug the other day and every time I think about it I could just cry. I'm definitely at that spot again where I am so happy that I just feel like I could burst. . .oh how much better life is when babies go to bed easily. :) Both Abs and Ty have been awesome at bedtime and that makes for one happy Mama and Daddy!</div></div></div></div>Kimberlyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00337807418317586568noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3462219995369947130.post-88062790423328494472012-03-14T23:04:00.002-07:002012-03-14T23:11:48.248-07:00Today was a good day. . .That is supposed to be sung/rapped. Gangsters Paradise I believe :). Hee hee<br />Anyways, another phone post--I've been trying really hard to keep Abby entertained w/ age appropriate activities lately such as a rice station, baking, well helping and then taste testing, and of course visiting Barnes and Noble and the library. She is sooo ready for preschool which we have a tour tomorrow and I am so excited to see how she reacts. Lately she has been so excited when other kids are around. "mommy, kids!". I love it.<br />Ty rocked his Johnny Jump Up for the first time today and loved it. He has his 4 month check up tomorrow as well. Can't wait to see how big he is. He also has been dealing with his first cold. . .doesn't hardly phase him which is great. A little snotty nose for a few days and I think he is already getting better-Yah!<br />Here are a few pics of my babes in action. I just love these little guys so much, epecially since they have been going to bed so much better lately! :)<div style="text-align: center; clear: both;" class="separator"><a style="margin-right: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-DSaPBhuJnPY/T2GHMiH---I/AAAAAAAAC8w/8d719A7e9nE/s640/blogger-image--1415904820.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-DSaPBhuJnPY/T2GHMiH---I/AAAAAAAAC8w/8d719A7e9nE/s640/blogger-image--1415904820.jpg" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center; clear: both;" class="separator"><a style="margin-right: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-1r-T8WSWp10/T2GHNFXxeII/AAAAAAAAC80/L8ZgIDlALeY/s640/blogger-image-264500530.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-1r-T8WSWp10/T2GHNFXxeII/AAAAAAAAC80/L8ZgIDlALeY/s640/blogger-image-264500530.jpg" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center; clear: both;" class="separator"><a style="margin-right: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-fKGkoSyzOpI/T2GHNUybw8I/AAAAAAAAC88/uCFfCMHH-_M/s640/blogger-image--1361711751.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-fKGkoSyzOpI/T2GHNUybw8I/AAAAAAAAC88/uCFfCMHH-_M/s640/blogger-image--1361711751.jpg" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center; clear: both;" class="separator"><a style="margin-right: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-nS11FLEIe5c/T2GHNuXnWiI/AAAAAAAAC9E/kd26zjyPESQ/s640/blogger-image-1536477096.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-nS11FLEIe5c/T2GHNuXnWiI/AAAAAAAAC9E/kd26zjyPESQ/s640/blogger-image-1536477096.jpg" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center; clear: both;" class="separator"><a style="margin-right: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-vK2MBgT7KTs/T2GHN9XDZwI/AAAAAAAAC9M/neLv57VDxtU/s640/blogger-image-950236700.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-vK2MBgT7KTs/T2GHN9XDZwI/AAAAAAAAC9M/neLv57VDxtU/s640/blogger-image-950236700.jpg" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center; clear: both;" class="separator"><a style="margin-right: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-NVBcLt4jLco/T2GHOZ67ZuI/AAAAAAAAC9U/5FrqFXkHWkY/s640/blogger-image-1752135546.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-NVBcLt4jLco/T2GHOZ67ZuI/AAAAAAAAC9U/5FrqFXkHWkY/s640/blogger-image-1752135546.jpg" /></a></div>Kimberlyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00337807418317586568noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3462219995369947130.post-54146383901389132152012-03-11T09:06:00.008-07:002012-03-11T10:25:33.235-07:00Good times!I have to admit that the past 4 months have seemed really crazy to me adjusting to life with two children especially when one of those children is a toddler but I think we are finally getting some structure and routine down which is helping. Bed time has been going a little better this past week and the tantrums aren't lasting quite as long. . .I'm working really hard at staying calm :) and consistent w/ how I deal w/ my sweet girl and it seems to be helping. These pics are in newest to oldest order but let's get rolling w/ what's been up at the Wyckoff home these past few weeks. . .<br /><br />When Zach takes Abby to the grocery store she gets the special treat of riding in the car! She loves it. . .when she goes to the store w/ me I just give her whatever she wants to snack on in the cart--HA. . .that thing is just too big for me to push around.<br /><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-tNSni6lAcQU/T1zQkfMYGsI/AAAAAAAAC8c/CxtIGmmcklI/s1600/IMG_2659.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 239px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5718674952120965826" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-tNSni6lAcQU/T1zQkfMYGsI/AAAAAAAAC8c/CxtIGmmcklI/s320/IMG_2659.JPG" /></a>Not only is Abby driving the cart at the store but she also loves to drive our car in the driveway. She makes the car noises and really thinks she is cool. Again, this is something Dad introduced to her so now when we get home she tries to hop into the front seat for awhile before going inside.<br /><br /><div><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 239px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5718674288539977266" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-u_8P108DLSY/T1zP93KVxjI/AAAAAAAAC8M/pcoLwDLV2NA/s320/IMG_2653.JPG" />I had to go out to Alderbrook for a site tour on Friday and decided to call up Amy and the kids to join us for an overnight. It was quick (and Grammy stopped by to help for a bit) but we had tons of fun at the pool and playing on the luggage cart. The kids kept acting like it was a train and yelling "all aboard!".<br /><div><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-DYHWGuFCM44/T1zP9Wzt0tI/AAAAAAAAC8E/9UIoXuScKT8/s1600/IMG_2649.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 239px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5718674279855149778" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-DYHWGuFCM44/T1zP9Wzt0tI/AAAAAAAAC8E/9UIoXuScKT8/s320/IMG_2649.JPG" /></a>Ty is sooo big that he can no longer take baths in the baby tub in the sink. I got this great chair that goes in the regular bath so now Sis can enjoy bathtime w/ Brother--they love it. . .and so do I. The kids are soooo cute together.<br /><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-HOlILTJaRc0/T1zP81kRH0I/AAAAAAAAC70/D2x44QrxVhk/s1600/IMG_2628.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 239px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5718674270931984194" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-HOlILTJaRc0/T1zP81kRH0I/AAAAAAAAC70/D2x44QrxVhk/s320/IMG_2628.JPG" /></a>Grandma and Grandpa bought Ty and Abigail a membership to the Children's Museum so we can go to most of them throughout the US. Abby's first visit was in Tacoma and she had so much fun. I am getting so excited for her to start pre-school soon. We have a tour at one this week and I really hope we like it!!<br /><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-7frr5w4T-b4/T1zP8pe-R5I/AAAAAAAAC7s/Qbv4WSptTLw/s1600/IMG_2604.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 239px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5718674267688552338" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-7frr5w4T-b4/T1zP8pe-R5I/AAAAAAAAC7s/Qbv4WSptTLw/s320/IMG_2604.JPG" /></a>The water tables were her favorite of course! She could have played here forever.<br /><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-5kt-TV834-k/T1zP7xWRgMI/AAAAAAAAC7g/NkQnF-1rWtg/s1600/IMG_2592.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 239px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5718674252619677890" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-5kt-TV834-k/T1zP7xWRgMI/AAAAAAAAC7g/NkQnF-1rWtg/s320/IMG_2592.JPG" /></a>I had a conference in Tacoma last week so Grandma came and stayed with us. Ty got to sleep with Grammy while Abs slept with me. I secretly think Grammy loved snuggling next to Ty each night even though she always acts like she will never share a bed w/ the kids. :)<br /><div><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-qBQVzgP7Ov4/T1zPd-YWaGI/AAAAAAAAC7U/FRqlCcwx_EU/s1600/IMG_2577.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 239px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5718673740721973346" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-qBQVzgP7Ov4/T1zPd-YWaGI/AAAAAAAAC7U/FRqlCcwx_EU/s320/IMG_2577.JPG" /></a>When we were in Olympia last Saturday Joe and Janice had a surprise to tell us. I was a little worried about Abby sitting still to listen to the stories but I soon realized that wasn't going to be a problem. . . The stories were very interactive, the kids got to sing songs w/ hand gestures, they got to dance and wiggle and make a craft. Abby LOVED it and it made me excited for her to start preschool! I think she is really ready for that type of environment. When we were done I let Abs loose in the library. She was more interested in the puzzles, alphabet and of course, the computers than she was the books. We will definitely be going back!<br />(this was a post from my phone-kinda a test)<div style="text-align: center; clear: both;" class="separator"><a style="margin-right: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-l8UorqfksCY/T1DkQ13TtjI/AAAAAAAAC5M/ktPFFSzujoE/s640/blogger-image-1125433099.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-l8UorqfksCY/T1DkQ13TtjI/AAAAAAAAC5M/ktPFFSzujoE/s640/blogger-image-1125433099.jpg" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center; clear: both;" class="separator"><a style="margin-right: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-uBt70tw8SCw/T1DkRZaS2uI/AAAAAAAAC5U/NIh6V0HIRUI/s640/blogger-image--129225648.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-uBt70tw8SCw/T1DkRZaS2uI/AAAAAAAAC5U/NIh6V0HIRUI/s640/blogger-image--129225648.jpg" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center; clear: both;" class="separator"><a style="margin-right: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-JYARo1WZgls/T1DkRya1oSI/AAAAAAAAC5c/sw7-g0gs8Ho/s640/blogger-image--1695133437.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-JYARo1WZgls/T1DkRya1oSI/AAAAAAAAC5c/sw7-g0gs8Ho/s640/blogger-image--1695133437.jpg" /></a></div>Kimberlyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00337807418317586568noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3462219995369947130.post-91620684381345132172012-02-19T11:43:00.002-08:002012-02-19T12:24:10.104-08:00Maui 2012<div><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-6VbjrhKm7ZY/T0FUL0gFjNI/AAAAAAAAC5A/MaynkLykh90/s1600/IMG_2144.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 239px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5710938364531018962" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-6VbjrhKm7ZY/T0FUL0gFjNI/AAAAAAAAC5A/MaynkLykh90/s320/IMG_2144.JPG" /></a>Our first vacation as a family. . .what an experience! :) It was definitely different traveling to Hawaii with children. I am used to laying by the pool all day with a cocktail in my hand. . .and that was NOT in my agenda this time. You can barely even tell I was out in the sun. That's okay though--I had a wonderful time and I know my family did as well. Abigail LOVED the beach, the pool, being there with her cousins, uncle, aunts and Grandma & Grandpa, and having her Mommy and Daddy's attention 24/7 with no <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_0" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">interruption</span> of a computer! It was her heaven for sure. :) It was <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_1" class="blsp-spelling-error">soooo</span> nice only having to focus on my family without any worries of work. . .I only wish I could have stayed even longer--it was the life!<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-bUPuhaOkrLw/T0FULfoODoI/AAAAAAAAC40/fh0LXVxOGKw/s1600/IMG_2205.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 239px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5710938358927986306" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-bUPuhaOkrLw/T0FULfoODoI/AAAAAAAAC40/fh0LXVxOGKw/s320/IMG_2205.JPG" /></a>A few of my fave <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_2" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">pictures</span> from the trip. . . above--Abby and Griffin playing in the sand. Griff could have been on the beach in the sand all day. Below--Daddy and Abs in the pool at our condo at The Whaler. It was a standard pool very close to the beach and our building so I could see them from our deck. Abby loved being able to wake up and head down for a morning swim.<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-5FCB4B7yvh8/T0FULBfG3-I/AAAAAAAAC4o/ErfCasl6Dmk/s1600/IMG_2240.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 239px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5710938350836703202" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-5FCB4B7yvh8/T0FULBfG3-I/AAAAAAAAC4o/ErfCasl6Dmk/s320/IMG_2240.JPG" /></a>Best decision we made for this trip was bringing our double stroller. We used it every day a ton either for Abs and Ty or Abs and Griff. Griffin had a hard time staying awake at dinner most nights so would end up in the stroller w/ his side reclined. It was perfect.<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-_suhblrcp8M/T0FUJx0FVqI/AAAAAAAAC4c/68m3Ayalgvs/s1600/IMG_2302.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 239px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5710938329449846434" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-_suhblrcp8M/T0FUJx0FVqI/AAAAAAAAC4c/68m3Ayalgvs/s320/IMG_2302.JPG" /></a>Amy celebrated her birthday while we were on vacation so we made reservations at <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_3" class="blsp-spelling-error">Kimo's</span> for the entire crew. Always a bit chaotic when you get all the kids together for a meal (well anytime Abby goes to a restaurant its a bit chaotic) :) but we had a great time and delicious food! Zach ate his 32 oz. prime rib again. . .pretty much all he wanted to do since we booked this trip was get back to <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_4" class="blsp-spelling-error">Kimo's</span>! :)<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-y3tUJM50isI/T0FUIrSI3wI/AAAAAAAAC4Q/7vIUbMEzLkM/s1600/IMG_2325.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 320px; height: 239px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5710938310516989698" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-y3tUJM50isI/T0FUIrSI3wI/AAAAAAAAC4Q/7vIUbMEzLkM/s320/IMG_2325.JPG" /></a>The Old <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_5" class="blsp-spelling-error">Lahaina</span> Luau was so much fun even though we got <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_6" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">down poured</span> on for about 5 minutes. It was so horrible that all we could do was laugh. Here is Abby before the rain looking so cute in her <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_7" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">Hawaiian</span> shirt that was a gift a year ago from our neighbors, Tom & Carol. She looked so cute in it!<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-4b4UVWRpyQM/T0FTSaCkcQI/AAAAAAAAC4E/zxBLnKiUNCw/s1600/IMG_2357.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 239px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5710937378175348994" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-4b4UVWRpyQM/T0FTSaCkcQI/AAAAAAAAC4E/zxBLnKiUNCw/s320/IMG_2357.JPG" /></a>The cute cousins. . .<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-4GvjHjLdDMQ/T0FTR_Y4-nI/AAAAAAAAC34/2jWFKmCRogs/s1600/IMG_2366.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 239px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5710937371021212274" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-4GvjHjLdDMQ/T0FTR_Y4-nI/AAAAAAAAC34/2jWFKmCRogs/s320/IMG_2366.JPG" /></a>My beautiful family--wish you could see Ty better but he basically lived in the front pack this vacation. Every time I put him in it, he would <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_8" class="blsp-spelling-error">zonk</span> out. He really enjoyed being all snuggled up next to mama.<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-CrURC6p9DMw/T0FTQzoatYI/AAAAAAAAC3s/0tErXsns-1w/s1600/IMG_2361.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 320px; height: 239px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5710937350685242754" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-CrURC6p9DMw/T0FTQzoatYI/AAAAAAAAC3s/0tErXsns-1w/s320/IMG_2361.JPG" /></a>My cute boys!<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-qC4B_ne0cLU/T0FTQkievkI/AAAAAAAAC3g/byDowbOeKA8/s1600/IMG_2375.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 239px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5710937346633809474" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-qC4B_ne0cLU/T0FTQkievkI/AAAAAAAAC3g/byDowbOeKA8/s320/IMG_2375.JPG" /></a>The rain was not going to stop Z from getting his drink on. He was on a mission to get as many free cocktails as he could before we potentially left because of rain. Thankfully it stopped and we got to enjoy the show. . .a little wet. :)<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-aKp3Ed_oUjY/T0FTQV-Tm_I/AAAAAAAAC3U/I6V3J8TmE7c/s1600/IMG_2381.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 239px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5710937342723988466" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-aKp3Ed_oUjY/T0FTQV-Tm_I/AAAAAAAAC3U/I6V3J8TmE7c/s320/IMG_2381.JPG" /></a>The rain also didn't bother Abby one bit. She just hung out and ate all her food. . .soup style! HA<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Pcq3MsChDc4/T0FSUsuhiAI/AAAAAAAAC3I/U0MNuQ-IkH0/s1600/IMG_2386.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 239px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5710936318039656450" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Pcq3MsChDc4/T0FSUsuhiAI/AAAAAAAAC3I/U0MNuQ-IkH0/s320/IMG_2386.JPG" /></a>We had beautiful weather aside from the last day of our trip but being from Seattle a little rain wasn't going to ruin our day. We still went to the pool and played. The kids (and Uncle Zach) loved it. Ty and I stayed under cover though.<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-XJ9LfgL_vXw/T0FSUD1mBmI/AAAAAAAAC24/ybBR4_QslDc/s1600/IMG_2390.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 239px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5710936307063457378" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-XJ9LfgL_vXw/T0FSUD1mBmI/AAAAAAAAC24/ybBR4_QslDc/s320/IMG_2390.JPG" /></a>Uncle Zach (and Daddy) taking the kids on rides under the waterfall--they thought it was so much fun!<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-B3t9dBSxbFw/T0FSTSEFepI/AAAAAAAAC2s/vh_x0gaKtzg/s1600/IMG_2395.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 239px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5710936293702466194" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-B3t9dBSxbFw/T0FSTSEFepI/AAAAAAAAC2s/vh_x0gaKtzg/s320/IMG_2395.JPG" /></a>But all that swimming and sun really wore the kids out. As mentioned earlier, Griff had no problem falling asleep in his chair at dinner.<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-_dLvXAxMlSk/T0FSTHOV_uI/AAAAAAAAC2g/69ctjlay5WA/s1600/IMG_2402.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 239px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5710936290792701666" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-_dLvXAxMlSk/T0FSTHOV_uI/AAAAAAAAC2g/69ctjlay5WA/s320/IMG_2402.JPG" /></a>The last night of our trip--Abs slept great the entire vacation. The sun, the salt air, the beach and playing hard wore our little babe out every day. . .I LOVED IT!<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-8js_5cHYPwM/T0FSSwLsTqI/AAAAAAAAC2U/j9cv_SP_MOU/s1600/IMG_2404.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 239px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5710936284607565474" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-8js_5cHYPwM/T0FSSwLsTqI/AAAAAAAAC2U/j9cv_SP_MOU/s320/IMG_2404.JPG" /></a>I can't wait to plan our next family vacation and I think we will highly consider adding more nights to our stay. . .we were definitely not ready to go home. </div><div>Check out all our pics from Maui 2012 on my Kodak Gallery--<a href="http://pix.kg/p/529163852507%3A1778125737/scl">http://pix.kg/p/529163852507%3A1778125737/scl</a></div>Kimberlyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00337807418317586568noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3462219995369947130.post-18847748140882069072012-02-11T14:49:00.001-08:002012-04-03T09:18:39.694-07:00A big boy bedSince Abigail transitioned so nicely to her big girl bed I finally got to put Ty's room together! I love it so much. The colors are primarily blue and white with a splash of red. It is just so cozy and my new Land of Nod rocking chair is awesome. I literally could just sit in here and veg all day long. . .that is if I actually had the opportunity to do that--yah right!<br /><br />When we got back from Hawaii Ty slept in his bassinet one night and then I did the big transition to the crib for him at night and he did great! He sleeps the whole night through usually waking up around 5am or 6am for a quick feeding and then back to bed. I only wish he would sleep that well during the day! My little guy really likes to sleep and snuggle on mama during the day which doesn't work too well since I am supposed to work and also take care of his sister. Every time I put him down he sleeps for about a 1/2 hour and then wakes up. :( Sooo not okay with this and will continue to work on his sleeping schedule. I am really trying to get him and Abs to take a nap during the afternoon at the same time. . .we'll see if that ever happens.<br /><br />Now I just need to get the bassinet all cleaned up for Kora and Nick's little arrival! Kyle and Amy passed it on to us when Griffin outgrew it and it has been so nice to have for our little ones the first few months of their lives. It is a slim little thing so it fits nicely in our bedroom. . .we've actually had a pack n play and the bassinet at the end of our bed since Ty was born because Abby loves to play in her Joovy while watching movies on the big screen in our bedroom. Can't wait for the day when we have our room completely back to ourselves. . .will that ever happen??? :)<br /><br />So before you look at the pic below I'll warn you--I let my child sleep on his tum. . .I know, I'm crazy and shouldn't and when the nurse asked if he was sleeping on his back I flat out lied and said yes. . .but he doesn't. Please don't judge. . . :)<br /><br /><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-LT7kSTndU8g/TzbxEVpanhI/AAAAAAAAC2I/GIAaCYNYC4Q/s1600/IMG_2040.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 239px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5708014634571308562" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-LT7kSTndU8g/TzbxEVpanhI/AAAAAAAAC2I/GIAaCYNYC4Q/s320/IMG_2040.JPG" /></a><br /><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-kCZ6KafDjc4/TzbxDwTHeVI/AAAAAAAAC18/ECe3bXR4u9k/s1600/IMG_2041.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 239px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5708014624545667410" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-kCZ6KafDjc4/TzbxDwTHeVI/AAAAAAAAC18/ECe3bXR4u9k/s320/IMG_2041.JPG" /></a><br /><div><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-6stl4-ef16c/TzbxDnpFMmI/AAAAAAAAC1w/4qtcbLOPtD4/s1600/IMG_2042.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 239px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5708014622221873762" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-6stl4-ef16c/TzbxDnpFMmI/AAAAAAAAC1w/4qtcbLOPtD4/s320/IMG_2042.JPG" /></a><br /><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-h-44XvfB0wQ/TzbxDLH-VxI/AAAAAAAAC1k/GVOsO8zEsWM/s1600/IMG_2044.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 239px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5708014614566819602" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-h-44XvfB0wQ/TzbxDLH-VxI/AAAAAAAAC1k/GVOsO8zEsWM/s320/IMG_2044.JPG" /></a></div></div></div>Kimberlyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00337807418317586568noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3462219995369947130.post-78332926358180894352012-01-24T22:33:00.000-08:002012-01-24T23:04:19.386-08:00My kiddos and their milestones. . .<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-VR8O2P2UeeQ/Tx-j-LO-eCI/AAAAAAAAC1Y/aPRgRUHGWns/s1600/IMG_1985.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 239px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5701455941837158434" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-VR8O2P2UeeQ/Tx-j-LO-eCI/AAAAAAAAC1Y/aPRgRUHGWns/s320/IMG_1985.JPG" /></a>My <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_0" class="blsp-spelling-error">bigga</span>-boy finally had his 2 month check up today. We were supposed to have it last week but w/ the big storm we had to reschedule. He is doing great and gave the nurse and doc lots of smiles. . .already trying to win over the girls' hearts. :) He is 24 1/4 in. tall (95<span id="SPELLING_ERROR_1" class="blsp-spelling-error">th</span>%), 12 lbs 10 oz. (65-70<span id="SPELLING_ERROR_2" class="blsp-spelling-error">th</span>%) and head circumference 15 1/2 in (60<span id="SPELLING_ERROR_3" class="blsp-spelling-error">th</span>%). His height is primarily his upper body since both Z and I are pretty long wasted w/ short legs--HA and his head is much smaller than his sisters. Abs got Daddy's head and Ty got mine. :) I am anxious to see if Ty resembles me more than Abby as he gets bigger--we'll see! He is so dang cute with all his smiling--I just love it.<br /><div><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Ckg7HHENAqQ/Tx-jt7iDo-I/AAAAAAAAC1M/k82f_WA-gu4/s1600/IMG_1965.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 239px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5701455662744314850" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Ckg7HHENAqQ/Tx-jt7iDo-I/AAAAAAAAC1M/k82f_WA-gu4/s320/IMG_1965.JPG" /></a>Abby got a new big girl bed and has slept in it 3 nights in a row. I am so excited to get the crib all set up in Ty's room so we can finally put his bedding out and have it look like a real nursery. We ordered a rocking chair from the Land of Nod forever ago and it is being delivered tomorrow so the whole room is really going to come together. I can't wait. Ty seemed to like his sister's bed too!<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-V7j_3i9ie2Y/Tx-jtUMMLlI/AAAAAAAAC1A/QkcgRAnKJyk/s1600/IMG_1976.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 239px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5701455652183617106" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-V7j_3i9ie2Y/Tx-jtUMMLlI/AAAAAAAAC1A/QkcgRAnKJyk/s320/IMG_1976.JPG" /></a>Speaking of sis, she experienced her first sledding ride last week as well as her first snow angel. It is so fun to see the excitement in a child's eye about something new. Abby can definitely get excited for things. Zach told her she would be going on an airplane ride soon for our trip to Hawaii and she wanted to put her boots on and get in Mama's truck to go right now. She doesn't know what it means to have to wait for something. :) She is going to have so much fun in Hawaii with her cousins and <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_4" class="blsp-spelling-error">Gramma</span> and <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_5" class="blsp-spelling-error">Grampa</span>--we all can't wait. A much needed vacation for sure since I didn't really take maternity leave.<br /><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-D7l8OotUT4Y/Tx-js1OOpuI/AAAAAAAAC00/wSy2FZcAhI8/s1600/IMG_1931.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 239px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5701455643870668514" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-D7l8OotUT4Y/Tx-js1OOpuI/AAAAAAAAC00/wSy2FZcAhI8/s320/IMG_1931.JPG" /></a><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-GVYBKLHx5Vs/Tx-jsYF3DMI/AAAAAAAAC0o/_YcWmMZ-Tmo/s1600/IMG_1936.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 239px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5701455636050939074" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-GVYBKLHx5Vs/Tx-jsYF3DMI/AAAAAAAAC0o/_YcWmMZ-Tmo/s320/IMG_1936.JPG" /></a>Here is Abigail in her new bed with all of her <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_6" class="blsp-spelling-error">stuffies</span>. I don't have a comforter because she refuses to cover up with anything so its a bottom sheet only. Once we get the crib out of her room I'll get her toys and books more organized--I CANNOT wait for that. . .I like organization. :) The last few nights Abs has wanted me to sleep with her so its been a struggle getting her to understand that its her bed and mama has her own bed. . .<span id="SPELLING_ERROR_7" class="blsp-spelling-error">cuz</span> I don't want to get in the habit of always have to lay with her til she falls asleep. Transitions are always difficult for about a week and then it always seems to get better--hope that's true with this too. :)<br /><div><div><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-VsDrO94vVDw/Tx-jsFLsQ2I/AAAAAAAAC0c/J5uAfJWfK4E/s1600/IMG_1970.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 239px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5701455630975124322" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-VsDrO94vVDw/Tx-jsFLsQ2I/AAAAAAAAC0c/J5uAfJWfK4E/s320/IMG_1970.JPG" /></a>I know I say this all the time but I can't believe how fast time flies. I can't believe my baby girl is in a big girl bed and that my little guy is 2 months old--Life is definitely crazy but I wouldn't change a thing. . .okay--I lie, I would change one thing. . .I'd be a stay at home mom MINUS the full time work from home part. :)</div></div></div></div>Kimberlyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00337807418317586568noreply@blogger.com5
