Pumpkin Patch 2012!

A few weekends ago the fam decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather and head to the pumpkin patch.  Normally we go to the Fall City Pumpkin Patch but this year we drove past Remlinger Farms and Zach asked if we should try it out. . .what a GREAT decision it was!  We had the MOST fun enjoying not only the pumpkins but also their Fall Harvest Festival which included a petting zoo, food and rides for the kiddos.

Abby got to ride her first pony!  She was so excited and had a perma-grin the whole time!
Ty rode his first pony too. . .a plastic pony--he too, had a perma grin the whole time!
We all got to ride on a steam engine train around the entire farm--so, so cool!
Seriously can't imagine what Disneyland will be like someday! :)
The kids got to climb on an old fire truck and Abs even drove it.
Speaking of driving. . .both Abs and Ty got to drive Mom and Dad around in an old car.
 Nearing nap time. . .
but first a hayride out to the pumpkins!  Abby loved this so much that we had to do it a few times.
Ty loved that we finally let him out of the Ergo!  Check out his hair flying in the wind.  He was in heaven.

Abby also got to go down a big blow up slide a few times, jump in a jumpy house and pet some animals.  It was such a fun day and I can't wait to do it again next year. . .or heck, if they have Christmas trees we'll have to check them out for that too!

September. . .

. . .has come and gone so quickly!  I can't believe it's over.  I have been a horrible blogger and feel terrible about it since this is pretty much baby books for both my babes.  September was such a beautiful and busy month.  Here is a quick picture recap of the month.

Abby got a hair cut in preparation for preschool!  She was such a good girl and asks about going back. . .I don't know why--they have her favorite toy-Buzz and she gets candy!

 First Day of Preschool 2012-2013

Driving around in the morning makes for a weird schedule every once in awhile and this particular day Ty did not want to lay down for a nap so I stuck him in the jump up and he finally fell asleep!
A new restaurant opened up in Woodinville--Station Pizzeria, which we love because they let Abby play with dough and we always spot hot air balloons.  Abby loves them and wants our whole family to go on a ride in one.  hmmmn
A fun grocery shopping trip to Safeway. . .Abby loves the cart w/ the car because she has the option of driving us around OR sitting next to her brother.  She also knows they have complimentary cookies in the bakery so that is always our first stop!
Even though she loves her cookies, she is good about brushing her teeth and getting the "sugar buggies" clean.  Her first dentist appointment went so well.  She let them do everything without a fuss--she was so excited!
The dentist is up in Smokey Point so we had to make a quick trip to the outlet mall on the way home.  Abs, of course, just wanted to play on the toys and Grammy was with us so kept forking over the quarters for her to ride.  What's that crazy lady doing to my child?  Oh wait, that's me!  Hahaha
We visited cousins. . .here we are comparing Ty and Nina since they are only about 4 1/2 months apart.  Ty really just wanted to attack Nina the whole time.  :)
Abs and Don have seen a lot of each other lately it seems.  Most of the time they play really well together.  I had to take them on a little walk to look at the moon and stars.  :)
All the Hussey girls went to see Tim McGraw.  Grandpa watched my babes since Zach was in Germany and when we got home it was hilarious.  Abs was awake standing in the window of her room under the blinds saying "big red truck is back" all while there was a huge poo in her diaper.  Ty was crying his head off and my dad was snoring in his room with the baby monitor sitting on the kitchen counter because he thought we'd want to see the kids when we got home. . .well, we saw them alright!  Hee hee, both went back to sleep in no time.  It still makes me laugh.
Our bigga boy is taking steps but he gets so excited to get to the person he is stepping to that he can only take a few steps and then lunges towards us.  We're wondering if he'll be fully walking by his first birthday. . .we'll see!
Our bigga girl just keeps growing. . .right out of her jammies!  :)  She is so adorable right now saying and doing so much.  She amazes me every day with her vocabulary, sentences, counting, alphabet, sense of humor, dancing, using her imagination, working on the computer etc.  She is a quick learner and LOVES to do everything on her own.
I still can't believe my children are turning 3 and 1 next month.  I am excited for their birthdays!  Next post--The Pumpkin Patch. . .coming soon.  :)  Happy Fall everyone!
