We were lazy today. We got up late and took the bus to Stanley again where we had a wonderful lunch overlooking the water. Then we actually got to lay on a beach for a few hours!! We both really needed that. Of course right now, we both are so sticky and gross that we can't even stand it. Lur's in the shower now because we are getting ready to meet Pete & Jinx for dinner and the horse races. I just lost some of my post so its going to be short and sweet. I gotta go get ready. Loves to you all

Oh hey MarLissa,
I met you today on the Star Ferry to Kawloon - actually probably maybe potentially I met you in the Irish Pub - Delaney's - munching on potatoe skins and warm melted Velveta cheese yumminess. 5 glasses later, I went to the Park 'N Save...................................................................so that was Lorissa, slash Marlissa typing. She's mad because I don't know why????? Don't be mad Marlissa.
Okay, so we need to show you some pics of what we have done while here. Yesterday we went to see Big Buddah amidst the Gorillas in the mist. I went up a freaking gondolah that made us look like we were going up stairway to heaven. P.S Watch the video: Well the vid didn't work so here are some pics:

The day started like this:Kora, I did it again. . .had the adapter and blew it up, along with my hairdryer--oops. Oh well, its so humid here, we couldn't keep our hair straight and dry even if we wanted.
This is how the day ended:Us getting a couples massage at 10 o-clock at night. Umm, they make you wear awesome clothes when they do the massages. They told Lorissa, oh, we small in Hong Kong, you wear big size. . .so they had to keep finding bigger shorts for her. We went shoe shopping on Day 1 and the biggest shoe size was way too small for poor Lur. Jinx says the same thing happens to her too. So, this wasn't the most relaxing massage I've ever had. It hurt and tickled at the same time and I thought Lur was crying next to me the whole time but it was really her therapist going to town and making noises. Very weird and I won't be doing it again. :)
Here's a little of the middle of the day in Stanley:

Day 2, we take a Junk Boat to Pete & Jinx's
On the way to Sheko, a village/beach area--Luce got tired
At the beach
NO SKIN CANCER HERE!!!
We met Strawberry Shortcake!!
And saw a photo shoot for a Daniel Steel bookSo that was a quick recap of Day 1 and Day 2. The weather on Day 2 was hot so it was fun to just hang out in Sheko. We met Pete & Jinx's friends, Bob and Jen who hung out with us all day as well. It was a fun day and we are about to start Day 3. Dim Sum and shopping in Stanley. I love you all!

Lur and I got to Seatac Airport at 10pm only to find out that one bar was open. . .and would only be open for about another 45 minutes. . .so in that amount of time we downed 3 drinks and ran off to catch out plane. We first hit the Duty Free to buy some make up before even leaving Seattle.
Thanks to Leah for our goodie bags because the food on the plane was not that great--thank God for Corn Nuts, the entire bag is gone! :) I slept for the first 8 hours of the trip and Lur did pretty much as well so that was nice.

As some of you may have read on Jinx's blog, Lorissa and I are headed to HK Thursday morning at 1am!!! We will be there a little over a week. I am so excited to meet Lucy and visit the city my dear friends are living in. I haven't really prepared for the trip. . .usually I shop for new clothes and all that fun stuff but I haven't done that yet. Maybe I'll just buy stuff there. I plan on taking my computer and camera so I can blog while there--the thing I am most excited about is that there are beaches and its hot, a little change from the snowy weather we've been experiencing lately!!! Hopefully no typhoons while we are there. :)
This weekend was fun, went down to Amy & Kyles for an Arbonne party, celebrated Tanya's 30th birthday!!! Happy B-Day Tans and then seriously piled all day on Sunday. . .movies, movies, and more movies. I sometimes love days like that. Here are a few pics from when we were down at K & A's.
The morning after the Arbonne party, I accidentally drank too much wine. . .

Kora was over at my house last night for dinner and the CMT Awards (along with Zach who had to put up with us). . .Well, Kora called my mom to tell her something and walked to the back portion of my house. For some reason I think it's really funny to ALSO call my mom right after Kora has started talking to her. My mom always clicks over and then Kora gets mad because she realizes its me and my mom and I can't quit laughing. I did it twice last night!!! Then another story I think is hilarious. . .my mom works for the Olympia School District and was on a VIDEO conference call with the entire state. She logged in and started making faces as a joke thinking that no one could see her but the entire state was watching her office on the video conference. I sooo wish I could have seen that. Someone needs to get it on You Tube.

On Wednesday, April 9th my mom turned 57! Most of the fam was able to make it to Oly to help her celebrate with a wonderful dinner at Hearthfire. For anyone who makes it to Olympia, it's a great restaurant right on the water. We went back home to do cake and presents. I think my mom had a really wonderful birthday! Here are some pics. . .(unfortunately, Marisa, Richie and Kora could not make it)

I got to watch Nathan today for a few hours. In this amount of time, he slept, ate, TOOTED lots, puked on my floor in two different spots (thank God it was hard wood), part of that puke also got on me and peed thru his pants. :) Hilarious! I got a little glimpse at what my life could be like with a little one around AND trying to work from home. . .interesting. Let's just say I didn't get a lot of work done and I didn't even care because Nathan made me laugh and smile tons. He is so cute that I just can't take my eyes off him, even when sleeping. I got a few pics while I was changing him into a new outfit for when Mommy showed up. Molly, anytime you need me to do it again, I'm available. :)

I got Sophia these red cowboy boots for Christmas. She finally fits into them and pretty much won't take them off. I love it! She'll get dressed and then say "boots, boots". My mom and dad got her a new bathing suit, she tried it on for them but only if she could wear her boots too! Could she be any cuter?

I love it. It's a reality TV show on TLC that follows the life of Jon & Kate and their 8 children (set of twins and sextuplets). . .I never intentionally sit down to watch it but rather find that once I click on that channel, I can't change it. I get hooked in. It's hilarious! I wish I could meet them in person because they seem so normal and hilarious and the kids crack me up. If you haven't checked this show out, I highly recommend it. . .It's an all new season! Monday's at 9pm. http://tlc.discovery.com/tv/jon-and-kate/jon-and-kate.html
