Sucker for Questionaires

What did you do in 2007 that you have never done before?
Started working from home—LOVE IT
Did you keep your new year's resolutions and will you make more for next year?
I kept it for a few months (no eating fries ever is really hard). I love resolutions, just like I love these things so of course, go to church more and work out more.
Did anyone close to you give birth?
Jinx & Molly, I’m sure there are also a few family friends as well that I am forgetting

Did anyone close to you die?
No—thank Goodness!

What countries did you visit?
I didn’t travel out of the US in 2007
What would you like to have more of in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?
Square footage in a home, a dishwasher

What date in 2007 will remain etched in your memory?
Hee hee May 5th (my birthday celebration gone wild) and July 14 & 15-STP

Most out of character thing you did in 2007?
Hmmn-I guess that I went to 2 games at Husky Stadium

What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Probably riding my bike 208 miles in 2 days--STP.

What was your biggest failure?
I hate the word Failure, fail, failed. . .

Did you suffer illness or injury?
Not that I can remember

What was the best thing you bought?
My bike, which my parents ended up helping out with a lot—thanks Mom and Dad!

Where did most of your money go?
As usual, on going out to eat and on wine. Hey, it’s a weakness, some people buy clothes, I go out to eat!

What did you get really really really excited about?
Always my niece, falling in love, starting up biking

What song will always remind you of 2007?
Big Girls Don’t Cry, I couldn’t get enough of that song

Compared to this time last year are you: much happier, much richer, much nicer?
Happier- Yes. I’m in love! Not only with Zach but with my apartment and my job
Richer- we’ll see when I do my taxes but probably pretty similar to last year
Nicer- I always think I become nicer the older I get, at least I hope
What do you wish you done more of?
Travel, cook at home

What do you wish you have done less of?
Hmmn, eat out??? I guess

How did you spend Christmas?
In Olympia with the family opening presents pretty much ALL day

Did you fall in love 2007?
YES--yippee

Fave TV show?
Grey’s, HGTV, Top Chef, Project Runway

Hate anyone now that you didn't hate last year?
Nope

What was the best book you read this year?
I have a lot of good ones-Angry Housewives Eating Bon Bons, Kite Runner, Water for Elephants

What was your greatest musical discovery?
That I suck at owning a Nano—I have 2 songs uploaded on it right now

What did you want and get?
I always will want a home until I get it, most everything I wanted I got

What were your favorite films this year?
Bourne Ultimatum, I know there were more but can’t think

What did you do on your birthday?
On the actual day-spent it in Oly, the celebration w. friends, we went to Freemont and had Friends Gone Wild

What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Certain things getting finalized. . .we’ll leave it at that.

Personal fashion concept of 2007?
Comfort in a cute way (since I’m not required to dress up for work anymore)

What kept you sane?
Working from home

Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Fancy…hm, no one.

What political issue stirred you the most?
I know nothing about politics.

Who did you miss?
Jinx & Pete, Sophia (my niece) everyday I don’t see her & Bird!

Who was the best new person you met in 2007?
Hmmn, that’s a hard one, I did love my yoga instructor but she cancelled all the classes she taught so I don’t get to see her anymore. I can’t remember when I met Nick, Kora’s boyfriend, but I think it was in 07’ so definitely him!

Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2007?
To have patience, not over commit and to follow your heart

What are you most excited about in 2008?
Eek, everything!

What are you the least excited about in 2008?
So far, nothing.

1. You do become a nicer person with every new year. I've always thought you were a nice person but being BFFAEs with someone for 19 years means you see them grow in many different ways!
2. I will show you how to use your NANO, it's the greatest thing that's ever happened to me. I mean technology wise.
