Last week I had to go to Portland for work. My mom decided to join me and play vaca while I was out on calls. . .on the way down, this is what happened. . .
It immediatly popped my tire-look how big the hole is!
Thank goodness for Triple A and Shane! Apparently, he models on the side as well. HA He came to the rescue in an old Beamer. Interesting
Once we got the tire changed, we made a quick pit stop at Kyle and Amy's to see Sophia. She was just waking up from a nap. Her hair is crazy since she usually has it in piggies, except for bedtime. . .check it out! She's showing us how she can jump in bed--really gettin wild!
Time to tame the do so back in a piggy. Sophia is always so good when Mommy is doing her hair.
Last but not least, a quick video for you. Sophia and Amy play a game "can you hear it" and Sophes always gets crazy eyes like she's really trying to hear the bird or whatever the noise is they are listening too. You can't see it very well in this video but she is so cute, I still had to post. She turns 2 on Thursday! I can't believe it.

Another great weekend. . .especially since there was so much sunshine! I was out at the resort on Friday for a tour which was perfect--couldn't be anywhere more beautiful. Then I came back to have a drink on the Eastlake Bar & Grill deck. . .SO HOT so we finished with that and met Luke & Jamie at Jacks for a yummy dinner. On Saturday Zach and I finally got on our bikes for a 20 mile ride. This was my first time since STP last year. It was great and I can't wait to get back out there again soon-even though my buns are feeling it. It was sooooo hot though as we went right in the middle of the day. Ick. Ended Saturday with the Mariners game--A WIN! Leah and I did the Beat the Bridge 4 mile walk around UW yesterday morning. What a great day to wake up early and take a walk. We then met up with Zach for breakfast at Sunflower. Later in the day Z and I went to Fremont to walk around and enjoy finally having sunshine. It was just a perfect weekend again. I love when we get sunny weather and longer days. It gives me more energy and a much better mood so thank you Mother Nature!

Kyle and I celebrated our 32nd birthdays as well as Mother's Day. It was a great weekend. On Friday night we went to the Alan Jackson conert. Tons of fun. Saturday we all lazed around. On Sunday we went to Kyle & Amy's for Mother's Day. It was so pretty out so we were able to have an impromptu BBQ. Sometimes when I have weekends like this, it makes it hard for me to go back to work on Monday. Here are some pics of the concert.

Up at the Peak--I got rull scared in this building riding on the escalators because we are so high on a hill/mountain, Lur had to pretty much hold me. :)
To get off the hill/mountain where the Peak was, we rode a Tram straight down going backwards. I didn't think I was going to do okay--think being on a roller coaster going up, we were like that but going down. I actually did okay, Lur--not so much. We made it though. So that was a quick recap. I am at the hotel taking a break from the night life while Lorissa is out with Pete and his co-workers. Jinx is at home with Lucy. Tomorrow we are going to Macau which is supposed to be like Vegas. We take a ferry there so it should be pretty. It is kinda rainy here but warm so its not too bad. No make up or hair dos for me though. . .Posted by Kimberly at 5:40 AM 2 comments
