Two Days later . . .

and the weather report for my wedding day has now changed to only 10% precipitation and mostly cloudy with a high of 52 degrees. I don't care at all if it's cold but I will be so thankful if we make it through the day with no rain--keeping my fingers crossed. :)

Sophia's A Big School Girl

Well, not really but my Mom took her to North Thurston High School for Joe's conferences and dropped her off in Marisa's classroom. Mrs. Faatoafe taught Sophia that she lives in the state of Washington (although it sounds like Sophes keeps wanting to say they live in Oregon). Doesn't she look like such a big girl sitting at that desk?

My Bachelorette Party!!

On Saturday Leah and my sisters threw me a fabulous Bachelorette Party which started off with some wine tasting. . .

Which lead to some late night dancing at my place--you all have to see Molly's guitar jump at the wedding!!
Everyone brought lingerie/PJ's that they like to wear now and I had to guess who they were from--this is from my Mom and it's true--she wears an apron all day every day. Her note said "sometimes it's fun just being in the kitchen with nothin but your apron on"--6 kids later. . .alright, I'm taking notes. :) Laura got me a breast feeding tank top and cute pregnancy boxer shorts--maybe after the apron I'll have to pull those out!
Wine + lingerie + sculpting things with play dough :)+ dancing = lots of laughs!

Pin the "blank" on David!

My own home-made version of "The Snuggy" I think it looks great on Leah.

The few that stayed til the end got to see my fashion show of all the lingerie that I got which included pasties from New Orleans. They are histerical. In the pic below, I am modeling what Marisa likes to wear right now--can you tell?? :)

We all had so much fun and I can't believe now it is 2 weeks til go time. Today was a stressful wedding planning day as I think everyone realized the 2 week mark was upon us so I had emails and phone calls etc. I think I'm pretty squared away though so hopefully this time next week I can say everything is done except the flowers which will be done mostly the Thursday before the wedding! See you all there and thanks for making my celebrations so far so special and memorable!!! You are all the best friends anyone could ask for.

This weekend's festivities

I had another wedding shower this weekend in Olympia hosted by my Mom's friends. It was very fun and everyone gave me lots of wonderful gifts--I will be the best baker in the neighborhood. :) I didn't get any pics except of Sophia so I have to share. It was also Joe's Tolo dance this weekend. My Mom and Dad hosted 5 couples at their house for a lasagna dinner instead of them all going out to dinner. I did this once when I was in high school and it's a ton of fun. I think all the kids enjoyed themselves! Blogger is really bugging me right now because I'm having trouble adding pictures where I want them and so now Tolo pics are first and shower pics are below and some of the text is underlined--makes me NOT want to post stuff anymore. Annoying.

Joe & Janice lookin HOT for their Vegas themed dance!

All of the couples that came to dinner at D&D's Restaurant. (Don & Deniece) :)

I had to get this pic because I love her hair--It reminds me of mine about that age.

Sophia being a poop--but of course she was still entertaining us all.

Notice, Sophia has a microphone-she likes to sing "I like to move it, move it" over and over while "movin" her bunners. It's very cute

I spent the night at Kora's and then headed back to Woodinville on Sunday. . .after the snow storm that morning which only lasted a few hours and turned into rain so the roads were fine. Then, Zach and I had a power outage from about 7pm to 4:30am. A tree fell onto a power line on Avondale so luckily I got board games at my shower and we played "LIFE"-it was really fun to play to candle light and Zach's head lamp--HA, that thing really does come in handy.

SNOW again. . .

I can't believe there is snow again. In just the past half hour it has covered our roads. I think it's beautiful but I am tired of it holding me hostage in my own home. I want to go to the gym tonight and may have to have Zach drive me and hang out in the lobby while I go to class cuz I am a baby when it comes to driving in this weather. :) This is what I look out to from our front door.

Craigs List. . .

. . .can be so fun. Yesterday I made a post on Craigs List trying to sell an old bedroom set, 2 entertainment cabinets, and a desk and in just minutes from posting I started to get emails. We ended up selling the bedroom set and people came and picked it up yesterday--love it. Of course, Zach wished we would have asked for more money, I was just excited it sold so quickly. We haven't gotten any bites on the desk or cabinets and I really want to get rid of them! If you or anyone you know is interested please have them contact me. Both are in great condition.

The desk is huge--$50 OBO The Cabinets go great on each side of a large TV or together as a bookcase. Can be painted to match your furniture or kept as is! $200 OBO for the set (I'd probably sell for less but don't tell Zach) :)
We also have a queen box spring we are giving away!

The wedding festivities begin. . .

This Saturday was my first shower hosted by Leah and my sisters. Leah, Lorissa and Londa did such a beautiful job with all the food and decorations. There were pictures of bikes all over since Zach and I fell in love while training for the STP a few summers ago. Leah had donuts instead of cake since she knows I love them. There were just so many perfect little touches that just shows how much Leah knows me. It was really special to me. Thanks again you guys for a perfect shower. I didn't get too many pics myself so all I have is one of my Mom, sisters and me at the end of the night. . .you can tell by my eyes that I enjoyed the vino. The last pic is a display of all the wonderful gifts I got (except my pillows Annie as they are already in use!) :) Thank you, thank you for such a fun kick off to the wedding festivities--only a month away!!

Thanks again everyone!
